What is the process principle of hot air circulation oven?
Date: 2025-10-31Read: 26
The process principle of the hot air circulation oven is mainly based on a forced hot air circulation system, which drives hot air to circulate inside the box through a fan to achieve uniform drying of materials. The core process principle can be divided into the following key steps:
1. Hot air generation and circulation
After the heater (electric heating tube, steam heat exchanger, etc.) heats the air, the hot air is driven by a circulating fan (axial or centrifugal fan) and sent into the oven through the air duct. The air after use is sucked back into the air duct, forming a closed-loop circulation system for continuous heating and utilization. This circulation method can reduce thermal energy loss while ensuring temperature uniformity inside the box (temperature difference is usually ≤± 2.5 ℃).
2. Temperature control and stability
Adopting a PID intelligent temperature control system, the temperature inside the box is monitored in real time through sensors, and the heater power is automatically adjusted. When temperature fluctuations occur due to door opening and closing, the circulation system can quickly restore the set value and maintain process stability. The temperature control accuracy of some models can reach ± 0.1%.
3. Material drying process
After hot air comes into contact with materials, it evaporates moisture through thermal conduction and convection. Moisture is discharged through the dehumidification outlet, and fresh air is replenished through the air inlet, creating a constant pressure environment to accelerate drying. Suitable for solidification, dehydration and other processes in industries such as raw materials, food, and chemical.
4. Structural characteristics
The box is made of angle steel, stainless steel plate and cold steel plate, and filled with high-density aluminum silicate cotton insulation. The heater can be installed at the bottom, top, or both sides, and the air duct design is divided into horizontal and vertical air supply to meet different material requirements.
This process significantly improves drying efficiency (up to 3-5 times that of natural drying) through efficient thermal cycling and precise temperature control, and is widely used in fields such as medicine, food, and electronics.
