Central air conditioning system: heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system. It is a comprehensive system used to control the temperature, humidity, air flow, and air quality inside buildings, providing people with a comfortable indoor environment.
Refrigerator: The refrigerator is one of the core equipment of the central air conditioning system, used to generate chilled water and provide a cold source for the air conditioning system. It transfers heat from indoors to outdoors through the circulation of refrigerant in components such as evaporator, compressor, condenser, and expansion valve. Common types of refrigeration machines include piston type, vortex type, rotor type, screw type, centrifugal type, etc.

Comfort air conditioning: To make air-conditioned rooms meet people's living requirements, controlling the air parameters of the room based on human comfort requirements, such as temperature, humidity, airflow velocity, etc.
Process air conditioning: also known as constant temperature and humidity air conditioning, controls indoor air temperature, humidity, airflow velocity, cleanliness and other parameters within a certain range to meet the requirements of production processes.
Cooling capacity: The amount of heat absorbed by the low-pressure side refrigerant in the evaporator per unit time during the cooling operation of the air conditioner, commonly measured in W or KW.
Heating capacity: The amount of heat sent into a confined space, room, or area per unit time during the operation of the air conditioner's heat pump heating system (with the auxiliary electric heater of the heat pump running simultaneously).
Performance coefficient: The ratio of the amount of refrigeration (heat) generated in the refrigeration (heating) cycle to the power consumption of refrigeration (heat) is the performance coefficient. When cooling, it is called energy efficiency ratio, expressed as EER; When heating, it is called the coefficient of performance, expressed in COP.
Refrigerant: an intermediate medium used in indirect refrigeration systems to transfer cooling capacity. After being cooled by the refrigerant in the evaporator, the refrigerant is sent to the cooling equipment for cooling, absorbing the heat of the cooled object or environment, and then returning to the evaporator to be re cooled by the refrigerant. This cycle continues to achieve continuous cooling.
Compression refrigeration machine: It consists of four main components: refrigeration compressor, condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator, which are connected by pipelines to form a closed cycle system.
Water cooled chiller unit: It belongs to the refrigeration unit part of the central air conditioning system, and its refrigerant is water. The cooling of the condenser is achieved by using the heat exchange of room temperature water to cool down.
Air cooled chiller: uses a shell and tube evaporator to exchange heat between water and refrigerant. The refrigerant system absorbs the heat load in the water, cools it down, and produces cold water. Through the action of the compressor, the heat is carried to the finned condenser, and then dissipated to the outside air by the cooling fan.
Water source heat pump: a technology that utilizes the low-temperature and low-level thermal energy resources formed by absorbing solar and geothermal energy from shallow water sources such as groundwater, rivers, and lakes on the Earth's surface, and adopts the principle of heat pump to transfer low-level thermal energy to high-level thermal energy through a small amount of high-level electrical energy input.
Water loop heat pump: An application of small water/air heat pump units, which are connected in parallel by a water loop to form a heat pump heating and cooling air conditioning system with the main feature of recovering waste heat in buildings.
Piston type chiller: an integrated refrigeration device used for air conditioning cooling purposes, which compactly assembles the piston type refrigeration compressor, auxiliary equipment, and accessories required to achieve the refrigeration cycle.
Screw chiller: a large and medium-sized refrigeration equipment that provides chilled water, commonly used for air conditioning in national defense research, energy development, transportation, hotels, restaurants, light industry, textiles and other departments, as well as chilled water for water conservancy and power engineering.
Centrifugal chiller unit: a complete chiller unit consisting of a centrifugal refrigeration compressor, supporting evaporator, condenser, throttling control device, and electrical meter.
Lithium bromide absorption chiller: powered by thermal energy, using water as refrigerant, and lithium bromide solution as absorbent, producing refrigerant water above 0 ℃, which can be used as a cold source for air conditioning or production processes. There are three common types: direct combustion type, steam type, and hot water type.
Clean room: A clean room refers to a specially designed room that removes pollutants such as particles, harmful air, and bacteria from the air within a certain spatial range, and controls the indoor temperature, cleanliness, indoor pressure, airflow velocity and distribution, noise and vibration, lighting, and static electricity within a certain required range.
Variable air volume: Variable air volume air conditioning system is an air conditioning system that adapts to changes in indoor load by changing the air volume sent into the room. It can automatically adjust the air supply volume according to the actual cooling or heating needs indoors, thereby achieving precise control of indoor temperature. Compared to fixed air volume systems, VAV systems have advantages such as energy efficiency and good comfort. For example, under partial load conditions, reducing the air supply can lower the energy consumption of the fan.
Variable refrigerant dosage: Variable refrigerant flow system. It is an air conditioning system that uses refrigerant as the transport medium and uses one outdoor unit to drive multiple indoor units. The outdoor unit compresses the refrigerant through the compressor, and then transmits the refrigerant to each indoor unit through the pipeline. [Source of this article: official account: refrigeration encyclopedia] The indoor unit automatically adjusts the refrigerant flow according to the indoor load. It has the advantages of energy saving, comfort, and flexible installation, and is suitable for small and medium-sized commercial buildings and residential areas.
Two control: A two control air conditioning system refers to an air conditioning system with only one water supply pipe and one return pipe. It provides cold water in summer and hot water in winter, and the conversion between hot and cold water is completed in the air conditioning room or heat exchange station. The system is simple with a low initial investment, but it cannot meet the needs of both cooling and heating at the same time.
Four control: The four control air conditioning system refers to an air conditioning system with two water supply pipes and two return pipes, respectively used for supplying cold water and hot water, which can simultaneously meet the cooling and heating needs of different areas. The system is complex and requires a high initial investment, but it can provide more flexible temperature control, suitable for places with high indoor temperature requirements and different heating and cooling needs in different areas.
Recharge fan: Recharge fan is mainly used to supplement fresh air to the air conditioning area to maintain the freshness and positive pressure of indoor air. In some places where positive indoor pressure needs to be maintained, such as clean rooms, laboratories, etc., the role of air supply fans is particularly important. The supplementary fan sucks in fresh outdoor air, which is then filtered, heated, or cooled before being sent indoors.
Fresh air cabinet: The fresh air cabinet is mainly used to process fresh air, which is filtered, heated, or cooled and then sent indoors. [Source of this article: official account: refrigeration encyclopedia] It is usually used together with the air conditioning system to improve the indoor air quality. The fresh air cabinet can effectively remove pollutants such as dust, pollen, and bacteria from the fresh air, while regulating the temperature and humidity of the fresh air.
Fan coil unit: Fan coil unit is one of the end devices in air conditioning systems, consisting of fans and coils. The fan sucks indoor air into the coil, and the air exchanges heat with the chilled water or hot water inside the coil, thereby achieving indoor temperature regulation. Flexible installation and convenient layout, suitable for air conditioning needs in small and medium-sized rooms.

Evaporator: The evaporator is an important component in a refrigerator, where the refrigerant absorbs heat from the chilled water and evaporates, causing the temperature of the chilled water to decrease. Evaporators are usually composed of tube bundles and shells, with chilled water flowing inside the tubes and refrigerant evaporating outside the tubes.
Condenser: The condenser is another important component in a refrigeration machine. The refrigerant releases heat in the condenser and condenses into a liquid, transferring the heat to cooling water or air. The common types of condensers are water-cooled and air-cooled. A water-cooled condenser takes away heat through cooling water, while an air-cooled condenser dissipates heat into the air through a fan.
Cooling tower: A cooling tower is a device used to cool down cooling water. It dissipates the heat from the cooling water to the air through the contact between water and air. Cooling water is sprayed down from the top of the cooling tower and exchanges heat with the air entering from the bottom. After the water temperature drops, it flows back to the cooling water tank and is then transported by the cooling pump to the condenser of the refrigeration unit.

Fan cabinet: Fan cabinet is an air handling unit that can filter, heat, cool, humidify, dehumidify and other treatments on the air, and then send the treated air into the air conditioning area. Wind cabinets are usually composed of components such as fans, filters, heaters, coolers, humidifiers, etc.
Freezing pump: The freezing pump is used to transport the chilled water generated by the refrigeration unit to the air conditioning terminal equipment (such as fan coil units, air cabinets, etc.) to meet the cooling needs of the air conditioning area. The refrigeration pump ensures the circulation of chilled water in the system by providing a certain pressure and flow rate.
Cooling pump: The cooling pump is used to deliver cooling water to the condenser of the refrigeration machine, absorb the heat released by the refrigerant, and then deliver the cooling water to the cooling tower for heat dissipation. The normal operation of the cooling pump is crucial for the heat dissipation and cooling efficiency of the refrigeration machine.
Precision air conditioning: Precision air conditioning is an air conditioning equipment designed specifically for environments with strict requirements for temperature, humidity, and cleanliness, such as data centers, communication rooms, etc. It can provide precise temperature and humidity control, as well as efficient air filtration function. Compared with ordinary air conditioners, precision air conditioners have higher precision, reliability, and stability.
