What are the precautions for using a submersible centrifugal aerator?
Date: 2025-08-06Read: 9
Submersible centrifugal aerator is a key equipment in water treatment, and it is necessary to strictly follow the operating specifications when using it to ensure safety and efficiency.
1、 Handling and installation
1. Cable handling: Never use cables to lift or suspend equipment. When handling, use chain hooks on handles or rings to avoid damaging the cables.
2. Low temperature environment: When the temperature is below 0 ° C, if the equipment is still running or immersed in water, it can continue to be used, but the operating status needs to be monitored.
3. Installation location: Avoid placing it at the water inlet; If placed on mud or floating sand, it is recommended to suspend or install a large bottom plate to prevent sinking caused by vibration.
4. Regular start-up: When not in use for a long time, run for at least 4 hours every half month to check functional adaptability and avoid component jamming.
2、 Run operation
1. Power management: Mobile devices or personnel are strictly prohibited from entering the water without cutting off the power supply. The power supply voltage must be stable within ± 5% of the nominal value on the nameplate, and cable joints must be sealed and waterproof.
2. Pre start inspection: Use a megohmmeter to check the insulation resistance of the motor (not less than 1 megohm), and verify whether the impeller rotation direction is correct to prevent efficiency reduction or damage.
3. Operation monitoring: Real time tracking of aeration rate, temperature, noise, and current parameters to prevent overload or abnormal fluctuations; Ensure that there is no leakage of lubricating oil or working fluid, otherwise the seal needs to be replaced immediately.
3、 Maintenance and upkeep
1. Lubrication system: Lubricating oil should be replaced every 2000-3000 hours (shortened cycle in high temperature environment). If it deteriorates, turns black or contains impurities, it must be replaced immediately.
2. Cleaning requirements: Regularly clean the intake filter and impeller attachments (such as EVA residue or scale) to prevent blockage or wear of the rotor cavity.
3. Component inspection: Measure the insulation resistance of the motor monthly, clean the impeller quarterly, replace the bearing grease (filling 70% of the chamber volume) annually, and check the wear of the seals.
4、 Safety and environmental adaptation
1. Operation safety: Always turn off the power during maintenance to avoid collisions with hard objects; Pay attention to corrosion resistance (suitable for pH values of 5-9 and medium temperatures ≤ 40 ° C), and record operation logs for easy fault tracing.
2. Environmental protection: Preheat the lubricating oil before use in winter to prevent solidification. If it is not used for a long time, the working fluid should be drained and thoroughly dried.
Strictly following the above precautions can prolong equipment life and improve aeration efficiency.
