The online total organic carbon analyzer is an instrument that measures the total amount of organic matter in water by measuring the carbon content in the water. It is to oxidize the total organic carbon in the aqueous solution to carbon dioxide and determine its content. By utilizing the corresponding relationship between carbon content of carbon dioxide and total organic carbon, quantitative determination of total organic carbon in aqueous solution can be carried out. Instruments can be divided into combustion oxidation non dispersive infrared absorption method, conductivity method, gas chromatography method, etc. according to different working principles. Among them, combustion oxidation non dispersive infrared absorption method only requires one-time conversion, has a simple process, good reproducibility, and high sensitivity. Widely used in scientific research, municipal water supply and drainage, electricity, petroleum and petrochemical industry, geological and mining industry, coal, water conservancy, agriculture, environmental protection, disease control, marine and other water bodies for the detection of total organic carbon content.
Routine operation, maintenance, and environmental requirements for online total organic carbon analyzer:
1. Wait at least three minutes after turning off the power before turning it on.
2. The total organic carbon analyzer is a high-precision analytical instrument. Please handle it with care and avoid severe vibrations.
3. The instrument should be calibrated once a year.
4. The instrument cannot be placed in the same laboratory as analytical instruments containing volatile organic compounds (such as liquid or gas phase).
5. The environment should be less dusty, reducing the impact of dust on instrument operation and internal circuit boards, and avoiding short circuits or affecting instrument performance.
6. To ensure normal operation, regularly check the lifespan of the UV lamp and replace its accessories in a timely manner. When replacing the UV lamp, special gloves must be worn to avoid leaving fingerprints on the surface of the UV lamp tube and the spiral quartz tube. Fingerprints absorb UV light and reduce the oxidation performance of the oxidation reactor. At the same time, caution should be exercised to prevent damage to the lamp tube and its surrounding spiral quartz tube.
