The sliding metal detector is designed with the core concept of "natural material sliding+real-time detection and removal". By controlling the material sliding speed and optimizing the magnetic field distribution in the detection area, it ensures accurate identification and separation of metal impurities without blocking material transportation. It is suitable for production processes with strict requirements for the purity of bulk materials and is one of the key equipment to ensure the quality of finished products.
1、 Process flow of sliding metal detector
1Material pretreatment and feed preparation
The bulk material to be tested is first subjected to a pre-treatment process to remove large impurities and avoid blockage of the detection channel by large foreign objects; The preprocessed material enters the equipment at a constant speed through the feeding hopper. The regulating valve below the feeding hopper controls the material flow rate to ensure that the material slides into the detection channel in a uniform and continuous state, preventing the detection accuracy from being affected by material accumulation or uneven flow rate.
2Material slip and magnetic field detection
The material naturally slides down along the detection channel, and the electromagnetic induction coil surrounding the outside of the channel continuously generates a stable magnetic field; When metal impurities are mixed into the material, the metal will cut the magnetic field lines, causing abnormal fluctuations in the magnetic field. The signal sensor inside the channel captures this fluctuation in real time, converts the magnetic field changes into electrical signals, and transmits them to the controller.
3Signal processing and impurity determination
After receiving the electrical signal transmitted by the sensor, the controller compares it with the preset detection threshold; If the signal strength exceeds the threshold, it is determined that the material contains metal impurities outside the qualified standard, and the controller immediately generates a "removal instruction"; If the signal does not meet the standard, the material is judged to be qualified and subsequent rejection actions are not triggered to ensure that the test results meet the production quality standards.
4Metal impurity removal operation
When the controller issues a "removal instruction", the removal device located at the end of the detection channel quickly acts to introduce materials containing metal impurities into the waste collection area or separate them from the qualified material flow; After the removal action is completed, the device is immediately reset to avoid affecting the normal sliding and transportation of subsequent qualified materials. The entire removal process is time-consuming and does not interrupt the overall production process.
5Qualified material transportation and waste disposal
Qualified materials that have not triggered the exclusion instruction will slide directly into the subsequent production process after passing through the end of the detection channel, and continue to complete the production process; The waste collection area is regularly cleaned, and staff conduct secondary inspections on the collected materials containing impurities to confirm the type and content of metal impurities. If qualified materials need to be recycled, they can be manually screened and re entered into the pre-treatment process to reduce material waste.
7Cleaning and inspection after equipment shutdown
When the production batch is completed or the equipment is shut down, first close the feed valve, wait for the remaining materials in the channel to slide to the qualified area or waste area, and then cut off the power supply of the equipment; Wipe the inner wall of the detection channel with a soft cloth to remove residual material dust and avoid dust accumulation affecting magnetic field stability; Check whether the appearance of the electromagnetic induction coil is intact, whether the pneumatic components or mechanical parts of the removal device are flexible, and ensure that the equipment is in normal working condition when starting next time.
