Precautions for use of second-hand high-speed centrifugal spray dryer
Date: 2025-06-04Read: 4
High speed centrifugal spray dryer can dry solution, lotion, suspension, paste material and spray into dry powder with high speed, high efficiency and few processes. It can maintain the color, taste, and aroma of materials, with good dry powder solubility, high purity, and good operating environment. It can be widely used in chemical, petrochemical, metallurgical, food, pharmaceutical, construction, ceramics, forestry and chemical industries through basic automation operations.
Precautions for the use of high-speed centrifugal spray dryer mainly include the following aspects:
1. Pre startup inspection:
Check if all components of the equipment are securely connected, especially the atomizer, fan, and heater. Ensure that the lubrication system has sufficient oil and the electrical system is well grounded.
Check if the atomizer nozzle/centrifugal disc is unobstructed, and adjust the compressed air pressure (usually 0.2~0.5MPa) for air flow atomization.
Check the power and gas source connections to ensure no leakage or air leakage.
2. Operation process:
Set parameters such as temperature, air volume, and feed rate, and adjust them based on material characteristics. For example, the temperature of thermosensitive materials should be ≤ 100 ℃, and the inlet air temperature should not exceed the material's tolerance limit.
Turn on the fan and heating device, preheat the drying chamber to the set temperature (usually 180 ℃ -220 ℃), and check for any air leaks.
Turn on the centrifugal nozzle and gradually increase its speed to the desired value. At the same time, turn on the feed pump and slowly adjust the feed amount to prevent wall sticking.
3. Monitoring during operation:
Closely monitor the feed rate, atomization pressure, and inlet air temperature to ensure parameter stability.
Observe the exhaust temperature to avoid product deterioration caused by excessive temperature.
Record key data: inlet/outlet air temperature, air pressure, powder status (color, humidity).
Regularly use a laser particle size analyzer to detect the particle size distribution of the finished product, ensuring that D90 (90% particle diameter) is ≤ 100 μ m.
4. Shutdown steps:
Stop feeding and clean the pipeline and atomizer with pure water or solvent to prevent residue from solidifying and blocking.
Wait until the temperature drops below 80 ℃ before turning off the fan, and finally turn off the power.
5. Maintenance and upkeep:
Clean the atomizer, drying chamber, and aggregate system after each use to avoid cross contamination.
Regularly check the aging condition of sealing rings and pipelines, and replace them in a timely manner.
When not in use for a long time, drain the residual liquid, disconnect the power supply, and apply anti rust oil to key components.
