The core working principle of the conical double helix mixer is based on the composite motion of rotation and revolution. The two asymmetric spiral shafts inside the device are driven by the transmission system to perform two types of movements simultaneously: one is high-speed rotation around their own axis (speed range 2-108r/min), and the other is low-speed revolution around the central axis of the conical container (speed range 1.8-57r/min). This composite motion generates four forms of material flow:
1. Vertical lifting motion: The centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the spiral lifts the bottom material upwards along the spiral blades, forming two strong streams of material rising along the cylinder wall
2. Radial diffusion motion: After the material is lifted to the top, it is thrown towards the center of the cone under the action of gravity, achieving radial diffusion
3. Circular motion: The spiral revolution carries the material in a circular flow in the circumferential direction
4. Centripetal convergence motion: The top material merges with the central cavity to form a downward material flow, filling the gap at the bottom
These four forms of motion work together to form a triple mixing mechanism of convection, shear, and diffusion, enabling the material to achieve a uniformity of ≥ 99% in a short period of time (usually 10-30 minutes), and the mixing efficiency can reach 2-3 times that of traditional equipment.
