Recently, the multi parameter ocean buoy monitoring system independently developed by Shandong Water Environment Sensing Technology has been deployed and debugged in the nearshore waters of the Jiaodong Peninsula, and officially put into normal monitoring of marine ecological environment, marking a new stage of "full parameter, real-time, and intelligent" local marine water quality monitoring.

The ocean buoy monitoring system that landed this time is a core product developed by Water Environment Sensing Technology to meet the monitoring needs of China's nearshore areas. It integrates multiple key technologies such as multi parameter water quality analysis, wireless data transmission, and resistance to harsh environments. Compared with traditional monitoring methods, this system does not require manual on-site sampling and testing, and can continuously monitor 12 core water quality parameters such as pH value, dissolved oxygen, salinity, turbidity, etc. 24 hours a day. The data sampling interval can be as short as 1 minute, and the measurement accuracy meets the first level standard of national marine environment monitoring.
According to the project leader, the high-precision sensor module installed in the system has undergone rigorous marine environment adaptability testing and can still maintain stable working conditions in coastal areas with high salt spray concentration and frequent wind and waves. The monitoring data is uploaded in real-time to the cloud platform through 4G/Beidou dual-mode communication. Environmental protection department staff can remotely view the data and set warning thresholds through computers or mobile apps. When a certain water quality parameter exceeds the standard, the system will immediately send a text message or platform alarm to buy time for pollution tracing and emergency response.
This system solves the pain points of traditional ocean monitoring, such as long time consumption, narrow coverage, and data lag, "said the person in charge of the local marine environment monitoring station.
