Ultrasonic vibration hopper

05.14,20255

Brief Introduction
Ultrasonic vibration hopper is a device used in industrial production to assist in material conveying and prevent material blockage and agglomeration. The following is a detailed introduction to its principle, structure, characteristics, and applications:

working principle

The ultrasonic vibration hopper mainly uses an ultrasonic generator to generate high-frequency vibration, converts electrical energy into mechanical energy through a transducer, and then transmits this high-frequency vibration to the hopper. Under high-frequency vibration, the friction and cohesion between particles in the hopper decrease, and the flowability increases, allowing for smoother outflow from the hopper. At the same time, this vibration can effectively prevent materials from bridging, clumping, or adhering to the walls of the hopper, ensuring uniform feeding of materials.

structural composition

  • The ultrasonic generator: is one of the core components of the equipment, which can generate high-frequency electrical signals and provide vibration energy for the entire system. Generators usually have functions such as power regulation and frequency regulation, and can adjust parameters according to different material characteristics and production needs.

  • transducerIts function is to convert the high-frequency electrical signal generated by the ultrasonic generator into mechanical vibration. Transducers are generally made of materials such as piezoelectric ceramics, which have high energy conversion efficiency and good stability.

  • hopperUsed to accommodate materials, usually made of materials such as stainless steel, with good wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The shape and size of the hopper are designed according to different application scenarios and material characteristics, commonly including conical, square, etc.

  • connecting partUsed to connect the ultrasonic generator, transducer, and hopper together, ensuring that vibration energy can be effectively transmitted to the hopper. The connecting components need to have good rigidity and sealing to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

Features and advantages

  • Improve material fluidityFor materials with high viscosity, easy agglomeration, or poor flowability, such as resin powder, flour, pigments, etc., ultrasonic vibration can significantly improve their flowability, allowing them to flow out of the hopper more evenly and stably, thereby improving production efficiency.

  • Prevent material blockageThrough high-frequency vibration, it can effectively destroy the bridging and agglomeration phenomena formed by materials in the hopper, avoid material blockage of the hopper outlet, and reduce equipment failure and downtime.

  • Reduce material residueThe vibration reduces the friction between the material and the hopper wall, making it less likely for the material to adhere to the hopper wall, thereby reducing material residue, facilitating cleaning and maintenance, and avoiding material waste and cross contamination.

  • Non-contact vibrationUltrasonic vibration is transmitted through air or the material itself, and does not require direct contact with the material, so it will not cause pollution or damage to the material, especially suitable for materials that require high hygiene or are easily contaminated.

  • Strong adjustabilityThe power, frequency, and other parameters of the ultrasonic generator can be adjusted according to different materials and production processes to achieve the best vibration and material conveying effects.

Application field

  • chemical industryDuring the transportation and storage of chemical materials such as resin powder, rubber additives, pigments, catalysts, etc., ultrasonic vibration hoppers can effectively prevent material clumping and agglomeration, ensuring smooth material unloading and subsequent processing.

  • food industryFor food ingredients such as flour, milk powder, sugar powder, seasonings, etc., ultrasonic vibration hopper can improve their flowability, prevent agglomeration during storage and transportation, and ensure food quality and production continuity.

  • pharmaceutical industryIn the production of drugs, such as raw materials, granules, powders, etc., ultrasonic vibration hoppers can ensure uniform feeding of materials, avoid material blockage and adhesion, and meet the hygiene and quality requirements of drug production.

  • electronics industryIn the production of electronic components, for some fine powdery materials such as electronic grade silicon micro powder, photoresist, etc., ultrasonic vibration hopper can achieve high-precision material conveying and quantitative feeding, meeting the strict requirements of the electronic industry for material processing.
