Differential pressure transmitterIt is a type of transmitter that everyone is familiar with. So, when using a differential pressure transmitter, what are the functions of the differential pressure transmitter? However, in order to properly utilize the differential pressure transmitter, it is necessary for everyone to master the wiring method of the differential pressure transmitter. To facilitate everyone's understanding, let's learn about the function and wiring of the differential pressure transmitter together.
Differential pressure transmitterUsed to convert measured parameters such as differential pressure, flow rate, liquid level, etc. into unified standard signals, pressure transmitters transmit this unified signal to indicating, recording instruments or regulators, etc., to achieve display, recording or adjustment of the above parameters.
Differential pressure transmitterIt has remote transmission output function, and the specific wiring method is as follows:
Differential pressure transmitterThe power signal terminal is located on the wiring side inside the electrical enclosure. When wiring, unscrew the cover labeled "wiring side" on the nameplate. The upper terminal is the power signal terminal, and the lower terminal is the terminal for testing or indicating the meter. It can also be used as a millivolt output terminal.
The test terminal has the same current signal of 4-20mA DC as the power signal terminal, which is used to connect indicator instruments or for testing purposes.
The power supply is sent to the intelligent differential pressure transmitter through the signal line, and no additional wires are required. Be careful not to connect the power signal line to the test terminal.
The signal line does not need to be shielded, but it has the effect of twisting two wires together. Signal lines should not be routed through conduit or exposed trunking together with other power lines, nor should they be passed near high-power equipment.
Differential pressure transmitterThe wiring holes on the electrical casing should be sealed or plugged to prevent water accumulation inside the electrical casing. If the wiring hole cannot be sealed, the electrical housing should be installed facing downwards to facilitate drainage.
Differential pressure transmitterHere is a brief introduction to the function and wiring method of differential pressure transmitters, hoping to help everyone better utilize the function of differential pressure transmitters.
