Glass reaction vessels are widely used equipment in laboratories and chemical production. They are usually made of high temperature resistant glass materials that can withstand high temperatures and corrosion during chemical reactions. However, due to the characteristics of its material and the complexity of its usage environment, glass reactors may experience some common malfunctions during operation. The following are solutions for these faults: 1. Cracks or breakage Regular inspection: Regularly inspect the glass reaction kettle to promptly detect surface defects such as scratches and cracks. 2. Temperature control: To avoid rapid heating or cooling of the solution inside the reaction vessel, the temperature should be slowly adjusted when using a heating jacket or cooling jacket. 3. Uniform heating: Ensure that the heating jacket covers the entire reaction vessel to avoid uneven glass stress caused by local overheating. 4. Component replacement: Once cracks are found, immediately stop using and replace the corresponding glass components according to the situation. 2、 Leakage 1 Check the sealing components: Check whether the sealing components between the glass cover and the kettle body are intact, such as sealing rings, gaskets, etc. 2. Replace seals: If the seals age or are damaged, they should be replaced with new seals in a timely manner. 3. Tighten screws: Properly tighten the connecting screws between the glass cover and the kettle body, but avoid excessive tightening that may cause damage to the glass. 4. Use appropriate lubricants: When installing seals, an appropriate amount of lubricant, such as silicone oil, can be used to enhance the sealing effect. 3、 Blender malfunction 1 Check the mixer: Check if the mixer is bent or damaged, and if the bearings of the mixer are running smoothly. 2. Adjust the stirring speed: Set the stirring speed reasonably according to the needs of the reaction to avoid damage to the mixer caused by excessive stirring. 3. Replace the mixer: If the mixer is damaged, it should be replaced with a new one in a timely manner. 4. Cleaning bearings: Regularly clean the mixer bearings and apply lubricating oil to ensure their normal operation. 4、 Interface issue 1 Check interfaces: Check all interfaces of the glass reaction kettle, including the feeding port, discharging port, temperature measuring port, etc., to ensure that there are no cracks or looseness. 2. Tighten the interface: Use appropriate tools to fasten the interface, but be careful not to damage the glass. 3. Use sealant: Apply an appropriate amount of sealant, such as polytetrafluoroethylene tape or silicone, at the interface to enhance the sealing performance. 4. Avoid hard connections: Avoid using metal pipes to directly connect with glass interfaces, and use hoses to reduce stress. 5、 Temperature control malfunction 1 Check the temperature control system: Check if all connection wires of the temperature control system are secure and if the controller settings are correct. 2. Calibrate thermometer: Regularly calibrate the built-in thermometer to ensure accurate temperature display. 3. Repair or replace heating element: If the heating element is damaged, it should be replaced according to the instructions or the advice of professional maintenance personnel. 4. Upgrade software: If the temperature control system includes software control, check for updates and upgrade in a timely manner to avoid software failures.
