The rotary tablet press is composed of multiple punches, upper and lower molds, and a rotating mechanism. There is a chamber between the punch and the upper and lower molds, in which powder or granular drugs are placed. The rotating mechanism will drive the upper and lower molds to continuously rotate, causing the punch to enter the chamber in a predetermined order and press the medicine into a sheet shape. During operation, it is necessary to first place powdered or granular drugs into the chamber. Then, the rotating mechanism starts working, driving the upper and lower molds to continuously rotate. When a punch enters the chamber, it pushes some of the medicine towards the edge and compresses it into a sheet. As the rotation continues, another punch will enter the chamber and continue to press the medicine into a sheet shape. This process will be repeated until all the punches are used up.

Adjustments can be made as needed to control the thickness and hardness of the drug tablets. For example, the thickness of the sheet can be changed by adjusting the distance between the upper and lower molds, or different shapes of drug sheets can be manufactured by changing the punch.
