Maintenance and upkeep methods for high-efficiency wet granulation machine
Date: 2025-04-10Read: 4
Maintenance methods for high-efficiency wet granulation machine:
1、 Daily maintenance and inspection
1. Check before startup
Clean the inner and outer surfaces of the equipment, and wipe the parts in contact with the material (such as mixing pots, cutting knives) with 75% alcohol.
Check if fasteners (such as bolts and nuts) are loose, and if transmission components (bearings, worm gears) are flexible.
Verify the rotation direction and flexibility of the mixing blade and cutting knife to ensure no abnormal noise or jamming.
2. Monitoring during operation
Maintain a stable compressed air pressure of 0.6 MPa to avoid pressure fluctuations affecting the granulation effect.
Monitor the running time of the equipment, with a daily continuous operation of no more than 20 hours, to prevent overheating or increased wear and tear.
3. Cleaning after shutdown
Immediately remove any material residue from the mixing pot, sieve, and pipeline to prevent blockage after drying.
Dismantle the rotating drum or mixing bowl, clean it, and store it dry.
2、 Lubrication and mechanical maintenance
1. Lubrication system management
Regularly check the amount and quality of lubricating oil in the gearbox, bearings, and other parts, with the oil level not lower than the centerline of the dipstick.
Supplement or replace lubricating grease every six months to ensure sufficient lubrication of transmission components such as motor synchronous belts and gearboxes.
2. Key component inspection
Check the wear of cutting blades and mixing paddles every month, and promptly repair or replace deformed/worn parts.
Check the tension of the motor synchronous belt every six months and adjust it to a moderate level to prevent transmission failure.
3、 Electrical and Safety Protection
1. Electrical system maintenance
Check if the wiring terminals of the distribution box are loose, clean the dust, and tighten the circuit connections.
Update the equipment control software to ensure the accuracy of PLC system parameters and operational stability.
2. Security protection verification
Regularly test the effectiveness of safety door locking devices, emergency stop buttons, and other functions.
Check the airtightness of the sealing ring (pot cover, discharge port) to prevent air leakage or material leakage.
4、 Long term disuse maintenance
1. Equipment sealing preparation
Clean the inside and outside of the equipment, and apply rust proof oil to smooth parts such as rollers and cutting knives.
Disconnect the power supply, cover the equipment with a dust cover, and store it in a dry, non corrosive gas environment.
2. Pre restart detection
Check the insulation performance of the electrical system to avoid moisture and short circuits.
Manually rotate the transmission components, confirm there is no lag or jamming, and then power on for trial operation.
5、 Principles of fault handling
If any abnormalities are found (such as motor overheating or abnormal noise), immediately stop the machine, cut off the power supply, and have professional personnel conduct maintenance.
Common faults require targeted handling: inspection of lubrication and wear in the transmission system, troubleshooting of electrical faults in the circuit or frequency converter
By implementing phased maintenance (daily/monthly/semi annual/annual) and standardized operations, the lifespan of equipment can be extended and the stability of granulation quality can be ensured
