Rotary tablet press is an industrial equipment widely used in the fields of pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food, etc. It is mainly used to continuously press granular raw materials into circular or irregular tablets. The core working principle is to drive the turntable to rotate through a motor, which drives the upper and lower punch heads and the middle die shaft to rotate continuously. At the same time, the upper and lower punch heads move vertically along the trajectory of the upper and lower tracks to complete the filling, pressing, and discharging processes.
1、 The working process of a rotary tablet press is mainly divided into three stages:
1. Filling stage: Bottom sealing is performed by downward flushing, and the material is injected into the middle mold hole by the feeder.
2. Tablet pressing stage: The turntable drives the die to rotate to the position of the pressing wheel, and the upper and lower punches press the particles into tablets under pressure.
3. Tablet release stage: Lift down and push out the compressed tablets, completing one cycle.
The equipment usually adopts a flow grid feeding mechanism to evenly fill the mold holes with materials and reduce the difference in sheet weight. Some models are also equipped with a powder suction box system, which processes the dust generated during the production process through blowers and filter bags to maintain smooth operation.
