A steam filter is a device installed on a steam pipeline, usually at the inlet end of a pressure reducing valve, relief valve, constant water level valve, or other equipment, to eliminate impurities in steam and protect the normal use of valves and equipment. When the gas enters the filter element with a certain precision, its impurities are blocked, and the clean gas is discharged from the outlet of the filter. When cleaning is needed, simply remove the detachable filter cartridge, process it, and reinstall it, making it extremely convenient to use and maintain.

Steam filters are currently widely used in industries such as food, medicine, biochemistry, beverages, electronics, etc. Their filtration effect is a guarantee for high-precision and high-definition clean production. Some types of products in steam filters are therefore equipped with sterilization filters, which use the high temperature of steam to achieve sterilization effects and ensure the cleanliness of filtered steam.

Filter cartridge introduction:

The material of the steam filter element is generally made of high-temperature resistant materials such as titanium metal. Titanium is an inert metal with excellent corrosion resistance. Titanium rod filter element is made of high-purity titanium as raw material, combined with special technology, and sintered at high temperature. Its structure is uniform, with a large number of open pores distributed, characterized by high porosity, uniform pore size, low filtration resistance, good permeability, and corrosion resistance. It can withstand temperatures up to 300 ℃ and has excellent mechanical properties. However, its filtering accuracy is the smallest and can only reach 0.2 μ m, which is currently a hesitant choice for many manufacturers.
