1、 Pre operation inspection and preparation
1. Equipment cleaning and lubrication
Remove debris from the workbench to ensure that there are no residual materials affecting the accuracy of packaging.
Check if all rotating parts (such as screws and gearboxes) have been lubricated to avoid mechanical jamming.
2. System status confirmation
Check if the power connection, CNC system display, and parameter settings are normal, and confirm that there are no alarm prompts.
Verify the parallelism between the screw and the distribution shaft spline to ensure mechanical transmission synchronization (observed by manually turning the motor).
2、 Component installation and debugging
1. Core component assembly
Insert the cleaned and sterilized spiral agitator into the feeder and lock it with a fixing device to prevent displacement during operation.
Adjust the clearance between the screw top shaft and the barrel, use a dial gauge to measure the total clearance, and control it within the process requirements.
2. Linkage system configuration
Connect the feed and discharge pipelines to ensure sealing (such as installing auxiliary equipment such as hydraulic stations and controllers).
After starting the motor, conduct a short-term trial run to confirm that the screw direction is consistent with the markings, in order to avoid equipment damage caused by reverse operation.
3、 Packaging operation and parameter setting
1. Starting the packaging process
Turn on the main power, set the parameters such as packaging volume and speed through the CNC system, and gradually increase the feeding speed to the target value.
Monitor the feeding uniformity of the feeder and adjust the screw speed or feed valve opening if necessary to avoid blockage or overfilling.
2. Running status monitoring
Observe the bearing temperature (usually ≤ 80 ℃), and if there is abnormal temperature rise, stop the machine to investigate lubrication or load issues.
Detect weight errors in packaging and maintain accuracy by fine-tuning screw travel or calibrating sensors.
4、 Shutdown and maintenance
1. Standardize shutdown operations
Close the feed valve, drain the remaining material, and cut off the main power supply.
Clean the screw, barrel, and pipeline to prevent material solidification from causing difficulties in the next start-up.
2. Periodic maintenance
Regularly replace the gearbox lubricating oil and check the wear of the coupling.
Calibrate pressure gauges, sensors, and other instruments to ensure long-term packaging stability.
3. Key precautions
Safety protection: Wear goggles and gloves during operation to avoid contact with high temperatures or moving parts.
Fault handling: In case of blockage, the machine should be stopped immediately, disassembled and cleaned before resuming operation. Forced operation is prohibited.
By following the above steps, the efficient and precise operation of the double headed screw packaging machine can be achieved, which is suitable for automated packaging scenarios of materials such as powder injections and granules.
