Working principle of solenoid valve：
Normally closed: When the coil is energized, the electromagnetic core is attracted, the pressure relief hole is opened, and the main piston is pushed by the medium pressure to open the main valve port, allowing the medium to flow. When the coil is powered off, the main valve port closes and the medium is cut off.
Normally open: When the coil is energized, the electromagnetic core is attracted, the pressure relief hole is closed, the main piston is pushed by the medium pressure, the main valve port is closed, and the medium is cut off. When the coil is powered off, the main valve port opens and the medium flows.
Selection of solenoid valve:
The principle and structural variety of selecting solenoid valves based on pressure parameters
The nominal pressure and work pressure must be clearly defined
1. Nominal pressure: This parameter has the same meaning as other general valves and is determined based on the nominal pressure of the pipeline.
2. Work pressure: If the work pressure is low, the principle of direct action or step-by-step direct action must be selected; When the minimum working pressure difference is above 0.04Mpa, choose the pilot type.
Electrical selection: AC220V and DC24 are preferred voltage specifications; But other specifications can be ordered as special orders.
Choose based on the duration of continuous operation: normally closed, normally open, or continuously energized. There is also a self holding solenoid valve
1. When the solenoid valve needs to be opened for a long time and the duration is longer than the closing time, the normally open type should be selected.
2. If the opening time is short or the opening and closing time is not long, the normally closed type is preferred.
3. However, some working conditions used for safety protection, such as furnace flame monitoring and boiler heating systems, cannot be selected as normally open, and sustainable long-term electrified types should be selected.
Select auxiliary functions according to environmental requirements: explosion-proof, signal feedback, check, manual, waterproof and dustproof, diving
1. Flammable occasions: Explosion proof solenoid valves with corresponding explosion-proof levels must be selected (they must pass the relevant national explosion-proof testing and obtain the corresponding explosion-proof certificate before they can be used!).
2. To provide feedback on the opening and closing status of the solenoid valve and the flow of the medium, please choose a solenoid valve with a signal device
3. To prevent medium backflow, please use solenoid valves with check function.
4. When manual operation of solenoid valves is required, please choose solenoid valves with manual devices.
5. Waterproof and dustproof varieties (with a protection level of IP54 or above) should be selected for agricultural and horticultural sprinkler irrigation, irrigation, or dust removal occasions.
6. For waterway control of music fountains, running fountains, jumping fountains, etc., please use fountain series solenoid valves specially designed for music fountains (with a protection level of IP68 or above).
