An aerosol generator is a mixture medium of compressed air and water prepared through a specific process to produce tiny water droplets, which are then dispersed into tiny particles using special techniques, and finally mixed with air to form aerosol particles. At present, aerosol generators are widely used in fields such as industrial and agricultural production, medical and health care, environmental governance, and scientific research.
The process principle of aerosol generator:
1. Spray
The aerosol generator is mainly formed by atomizing water droplets into small particles through the spray process.
The spray process includes three processes: droplet generation, droplet dispersion and droplet evaporation.
The process of droplet formation refers to the process of transporting the prepared medium through a pump to form droplets at the nozzle. The size and shape of the droplets depend on the characteristics of the nozzle used and the physical and chemical properties of the processed medium. There are two types of nozzles: compressed air spray and hydraulic spray. Among them, the compressed air nozzle uses compressed air to form liquid droplets and spray the medium, while the hydraulic nozzle uses high-pressure driving to spray the medium through certain techniques.
Wave drop dispersion process is to refine the liquid drop into small particles as much as possible. Wave drop dispersion uses spray tower, spray ring and other dispersion equipment. The dispersion equipment is to refine the liquid drop in the throat profiler or input air flow.
The process of droplet evaporation refers to the gradual loss of moisture and conversion of droplets into a gaseous state during the process, forming a droplet core that maintains a certain equilibrium state of water vapor exchange. The method used is to use equipment such as accelerators or thermal turners to complete this process.
2. Particle dispersion
Particle dispersion refers to refining the particles formed by liquid droplets as much as possible, making their aerosol particles small, uniform, and evenly dispersed. The main techniques for particle dispersion include thermal dispersion, electrical dispersion, ultrasonic dispersion, etc.
Among them, thermal dispersion refers to exposing particles to a hot air flow to evaporate, forming gaseous particles to achieve dispersion; And electro dispersion is the process of dispersing particles into aerosols through the effect of electrostatic attraction or repulsion; Ultrasonic dispersion is the process of dispersing particles into aerosols through ultrasonic vibration.
3. Gaseous particles
Gaseous particles are fine and uniform aerosol particles formed after the above spray dispersion process. Its size and shape depend on manufacturing processes and technologies such as control spray and particle dispersion equipment.
