On September 13, 2025, the Optics Valley Sensor Industry Innovation and Development Exchange Conference was successfully held in Wuhan,Optics Valley Sensor Industry Innovation Alliance officially unveiled and establishedMr. Xiong Youhui, Chairman of Sifang Optoelectronics, attended the exchange meeting and unveiling ceremony.
The Optics Valley Sensor Industry Innovation Alliance is an innovative ecosystem that covers all elements of "government, industry, academia, research, and funding". It was jointly established by 10 universities including Huazhong University of Science and Technology, 3 research institutes including Hubei Optics Valley Laboratory, and 45 leading enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain including Sifang Optoelectronics. The alliance deeply integrates the innovation chain, industry chain, capital chain, and talent chain, striving to be established by 2030A highland of intelligent sensor industry with global influence.
Xiong Youhui, Chairman of Sifang Optoelectronics and Vice Chairman of Optics Valley Sensor Industry Innovation Alliance, said in a media interview, "The alliance will integrate resources from universities, laboratories, and enterprises to thoroughly connect the sensor industrialization chain.
