Maintenance methods for experimental rotary sterilization cabinets
Date: 2025-06-12Read: 6
Proper maintenance and upkeep of experimental rotary sterilization cabinets can effectively extend equipment lifespan and ensure sterilization effectiveness. Today, the editor will take you to understand the maintenance methods of the experimental rotary sterilization cabinet.
1、 Daily maintenance
1. Cleaning and Inspection
Wipe the cabinet doors, instruments, and sealing surfaces daily after sterilization to keep them dry and free of residue; The floor of the sterilization room is cleaned daily.
Check the flatness of the door seal, confirm that there is no detachment or damage, and avoid air leakage that may affect the sterilization effect.
Observe whether there is any abnormal noise or jamming in the rotating bearing area to ensure smooth operation.
2. Operation monitoring
After sterilization, check whether the temperature gauge and pressure gauge pointers have returned to zero, and replace them in a timely manner if there are any abnormalities.
Monitor for steam/water leaks and abnormal vibrations in rotating components.
2、 Periodic deep maintenance
1. Weekly maintenance
Thoroughly clean the interior of the cabinet and the rotating bracket, remove impurities (especially the drain filter), and prevent blockages in the pipes.
Check the lubrication status of the rotating mechanism and add high-temperature resistant grease if necessary.
2. Monthly maintenance
Sealing system maintenance: Clean the dynamic sealing ring (at the rotating shaft) and static door sealing ring, wipe them with neutral cleaner and air dry, and check for hardening or cracking.
Drainage treatment: Drain the water storage tank and disinfect it, replace with distilled water; Clean the scale at the bottom of the sterilization chamber to avoid corrosion of the electric heating tube.
3. Quarterly maintenance
External dust removal, cleaning the surface dust of electrical components; Calibrate the accuracy of temperature and pressure instruments.
Test safety valve: Use a program to check if the exhaust starts normally when the temperature exceeds the limit.
3、 Special maintenance of key components
1. Rotating mechanism
Disassemble the rotating bracket every six months, check the wear of the bearings, and replace aging components.
Keep the cooling port of the drive motor unobstructed to prevent overheating and damage.
2. Sealing ring replacement
If the sealing ring has mesh cracks, loses elasticity or seal failure, it needs to be replaced immediately. Ensure that the new sealing ring is fully inserted into the groove during installation to avoid twisting.
3. Heating and circulation system
Clean the surface scale of the electric heating tube and impurities at the bottom of the sterilization chamber every month (wire brushes are prohibited).
Regularly check whether the steam circulation pipeline is unobstructed and whether the steam distribution is uniform during rotation.
4、 Long term discontinuation and safety regulations
1. Shutdown maintenance: Drain the water tank and pipeline, cut off power and cover the equipment; Power on and idle once a month to prevent moisture.
2. Safe operation:
During rotational sterilization, the loading capacity should not exceed 70% of the volume to ensure that the materials are securely fixed without any looseness.
Every year, professional personnel inspect the safety of pressure vessels and calibrate instruments.
3. Attention:
The rotating sterilization cabinet should focus on preventing the risk of bearing jamming and dynamic seal leakage. If there is an abnormal shutdown during operation, the power supply should be immediately cut off.
After sterilization is completed and the pressure returns to zero, slowly open the cabinet door to avoid high-temperature steam splashing.
