Operation method of experimental rotary sterilization cabinet
Date: 2025-04-09Read: 7
1、 Preprocessing and Preparation
1. Equipment inspection and preheating
Check if the power is disconnected, the pressure gauge is reset to zero, and there is no high temperature warning.
Confirm that the sealing ring, door lock, and rotating mechanism are not worn or blocked, and lubricate the rotating components.
Preheat the sterilization cabinet in advance to ensure temperature uniformity.
2. Cleaning and disinfection
Wipe the cabinet walls and work area with 7% ethanol or disinfectant to remove any residue.
If there is ultraviolet function, turn on the ultraviolet lamp to irradiate for 30 minutes for disinfection.
2、 Specification for loading items
1. Packaging and Placement
The items to be sterilized should be packaged with breathable materials (such as cotton cloth, specialized sterilization bags) to avoid sealed containers hindering steam penetration.
Place the items in layers into the sterilization basket/rack, leaving enough space (≥ 1cm) to ensure steam circulation.
Liquid products should be placed in heat-resistant glass bottles with a capacity not exceeding 3/4. The bottle mouth should be sealed with a cotton stopper, and perforated rubber stoppers are prohibited.
2. Center of gravity balance
Ensure the center of gravity of the sterilization basket is stable during loading to prevent deviation or collision during rotation.
3、 Run sterilization program
1. Parameter settings
Set parameters according to the type of item: Conventional sterilization at 121 ℃, 0.1MPa, 15-30 minutes; Instruments can be extended up to 30 minutes, while liquids can be appropriately shortened.
Activate the rotation function and set the low-speed uniform rotation (refer to the equipment manual) to improve sterilization uniformity.
2. Sealing and exhaust
After closing the cabinet door, tighten the lock evenly to ensure sealing.
Open the exhaust valve to release cold air, and close the valve after the steam continues to spray out and the pressure stabilizes.
3. Process monitoring
Observe the pressure gauge and temperature display in real-time, maintain the set parameters until the program ends.
If the pressure rises abnormally, immediately cut off the power and slowly exhaust and reduce the pressure.
4、 Cooling and Unloading
1. Pressure reduction and exhaust
After sterilization, turn off the heat source and slowly open the exhaust valve after the pressure gauge returns to zero to avoid liquid boiling or container rupture.
2. Safely retrieve items
Wear heat-resistant gloves, open the door sideways (avoid direct exposure to steam), and wait for the temperature to drop below 60 ℃ before removing the item.
Allow the liquid to stand at room temperature to prevent the glass bottle from breaking due to sudden cooling.
5、 Maintenance and safety regulations
1. Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the scale and residue inside the cabinet after each use, and regularly check the elasticity of the sealing ring and the lubrication of the rotating parts.
2. Safe operation
Sterilization of flammable and explosive materials is strictly prohibited, and the intake/exhaust ports should be kept unobstructed during operation.
Liquid sterilization must strictly follow the requirements for capacity and sealing, and the use of rubber plugs is prohibited.
3. Precautions
Before sterilization, it is necessary to confirm the parameter requirements in the equipment manual (such as rotation speed and upper temperature limit).
Regularly calibrate pressure gauges and temperature sensors to ensure data accuracy.
The above process integrates the core steps and safety requirements of sterilization cabinet operation, and needs to be executed in accordance with specific laboratory standards.
