Currently, according to the 2010 version of the GMP cleanroom classification standards for pharmaceutical factories, cleanrooms are divided into four levels: A, B, C, and D. A and B levels are equivalent to Class 100, C level is equivalent to Class 10000, and D level is equivalent to Class 100000. Therefore, in order to prevent the shedding of human hair and drug contamination, production personnel are required to wear dust-proof, anti-bacterial, and high-quality clean clothes in the clean room, which can improve the cleanliness of the clean area and thus enhance the quality of pharmaceuticals.
From the perspective of style selection, clean clothing should use a hood to cover all hair, beard, and other related parts. The hood should be tucked into the collar, and a mask should be worn to prevent the emission of droplets. If necessary, protective goggles should be worn. Rubber or plastic gloves that have been sterilized and free of particulate matter (such as talcum powder) should be worn, and foot covers that have been sterilized or disinfected should be worn. The pant legs should be tucked into the foot covers, and the cuffs should be tucked into the gloves.
