Although medicinal aerosols are only a small branch of pharmacy, they are also a very important branch. Due to their targeted and small dosage advantages in the treatment process, especially medicinal inhalation aerosols, they are receiving increasing attention in the industry. Traditional aerosol filling mostly adopts a two-step filling process, but with the continuous development of formulation level, two-step aerosol filling can no longer meet the needs of formulation development. Therefore, one-step aerosol filling process is receiving increasing attention and its application is becoming more and more widespread.
The one-step aerosol filling process has the following characteristics:
1. The liquid medicine is injected into the aerosol container in one go, with only one filling error, so the filling accuracy is higher and the product filling quality is more stable.
2. The liquid medicine and propellant are prepared together, so for aerosols with very low drug content, preparation is more convenient, especially easier to package, and the accuracy of packaging is higher.
3. The one-step aerosol filling machine adopts a diaphragm type filling design, which is easy to clean and can avoid drug contamination or cross contamination. And during filling, the liquid medicine is isolated from the power system. If the force of the cylinder is not directly applied to the liquid medicine, but transmitted through a diaphragm, it can prevent contamination caused by this and better meet the requirements of drug production.
4. The one-step aerosol filling process has become the main process for pharmaceutical aerosol filling, especially for suspended aerosols, which is an ideal filling process.
5. The one-step aerosol filling machine in China has made breakthrough progress in technology.
