name

High shear homogenizer

High-pressure homogenizer

原料要求

Powdered, block shaped or fruit can be directly added

The material must be melted and mixed into a fluid before being homogenized

Vulnerable consumables

No need to replace parts within two years, no vulnerable parts

Homogenizing valves and seals need to be replaced frequently after two to three months of use

production operation

Flexible, simple, and no need for dedicated personnel to operate

Special personnel are required to operate and adjust

energy consumption

The power consumption is one-third of that of the high-pressure homogenizer

High power consumption and energy waste

Shear action

This is mainly achieved through the shear of liquid droplets in the gap between the high-speed rotating rotor and stator, as well as the combined effect of the gap and the small hole jet on the rotor stator.

When the liquid flows through the gap under high pressure, the droplets are first extended, and later the vortex effect when passing through the valve causes the extended part to shear and break.

Impact effect

A high-speed rotating droplet is propelled by inertial centrifugal force, resulting in a significant impact force and thus producing an impact effect.

The liquid flow outlet that rushes out at high speed in the gap of the homogenization valve is treated with a retaining ring, resulting in high-speed impact.

Void action

The centrifugal force causes the liquid to have a certain pressure before entering the annular gap, but after entering the annular gap, it becomes a high-speed rotating liquid flow. After the liquid leaves the stator small hole, the pressure rises again, so there is also a certain cavitation effect

The static pressure at the inlet of the liquid flow is very high. When passing through the slit, the static pressure energy is converted into kinetic energy, and the pressure rapidly and significantly decreases, causing cavitation in the slit. After leaving the slit, the pressure rises again, causing cavitation to disappear, thus breaking the droplet

homogeneous
mechanism

The flow of droplets during high-speed rotation of a high shear homogenizer is quite complex, mainly controlled by the constantly changing flow velocity acting on the surface of the droplets and the resulting pulsating pressure, resulting in the tension of the split droplets and causing them to rupture.

The energy provided by the high-pressure homogenizer for droplet rupture comes from the static pressure energy carried by the feed liquid at the inlet.

At present, the commonly used shear homogenizer in China has a line speed of 10-25m/s. Practice has proven that its homogenization effect is not ideal. High shear homogenizer refers to a linear velocity of 30 to
50The main working components of the m/s shear homogenizer are fixed rotors that mesh with each other in one or more stages, and each stage of fixed rotors has several layers of gear rings.

Grinding: Using shear force, friction force, or impact force to pulverize and peel powder from large particles into small particles.

Dispersion: the nano powder is coated by the added solvent, auxiliary agent, dispersant, resin, etc., so as to achieve the purpose of separating, wetting, distributing uniformly and stabilizing the particles.

In the process of dispersion or grinding of nano powder, van der Waals force and Brownian motion are gradually obvious and important because the size of the powder changes from large to small. Choosing appropriate additives to prevent the powder from coalescing again and selecting appropriate grinding machines to control the temperature of the grinding slurry to reduce or avoid the influence of Brownian motion are key technologies for the successful grinding and dispersion of nanoscale powders in wet grinding and dispersion methods.

Nano grinding and dispersing machineIt is produced by a colloid mill,A high-tech product composed of dispersing machines.

Grades gradually increase in precisionmanySerrated protrusions and grooves. The stator can be infinitely adjusted to the desired distance between it and the rotor. Under enhanced fluid turbulence, grooves can change direction at each stage.

The second stage is composed of a stator. The design of the dispersing head also effectively meets the needs of substances with different viscosities and particle sizes. The difference in the design of the stator and rotor (emulsifying head) between online and batch machines is mainly due to the requirements for conveying performance. It is particularly important to note that the difference between coarse precision, medium precision, fine precision, and other types of working heads is not only the arrangement of rotor teeth, but also an important difference in the geometric characteristics of different working heads. The number of slots, slot width, and other geometric features can change the different functions of the stator and rotor working heads. According to past practice, work on a specific application based on past experience. In most cases, the construction of a machine is tailored to its specific application, making it crucial for producing the final product. When it is uncertain whether the construction of a working head meets the expected application.
