Let's learn more about what a 14000 RPM disperser is together?

14000 RPM disperserThe high rotational speed and shear rate are the most important factors for obtaining ultrafine suspensions. According to some industry specific requirements, Cheke Company has developed the XRS2000 ultra high speed disperser on the basis of the XR2000 series. Its shear rate can exceed 100.00 rpm, and the rotor speed can reach 40m/s. Within this speed range, turbulence caused by shear forces combined with specially developed motors can reduce the particle size range to the nanometer level. The shear force is stronger and the particle size distribution is narrower. Due to its high energy density, no other auxiliary dispersing equipment is required.
The factors that affect the dispersion and emulsification results are as follows:
1. The form of emulsion head (batch and continuous) (continuous is better than batch)
2. The shear rate of the emulsifying head (the higher, the better the effect)
3. The tooth structure of the emulsifying head (divided into initial teeth, middle teeth, fine teeth, ultra-fine teeth, with fine teeth having better effect)
4. The residence time of materials in dispersed walls, emulsification dispersion time (can be regarded as the same motor, the smaller the flow rate, the better the effect)
5. The more cycles (the better the effect, but by the end of the device's lifespan, it cannot be any better)
Calculation of linear velocity
The definition of shear rate is the relative velocity of the liquid layer between two surfaces.
Shear rate (s-1)=v rate (m/s) g stator rotor spacing (m)
As can be seen from the above, the shear rate depends on the following factors: - the linear velocity of the rotor - in this case, the distance between the two surfaces is the rotor stator spacing. The spacing range between CIK stator and rotor is 0.2-0.4 mm, with a speed of V=3.14XD (rotor diameter) and a speed of RPM/60
14000 RPM disperserThe high rotational speed and shear rate are the most important factors for obtaining ultrafine suspensions. According to some industry specific requirements, Cheke Company has developed the XRX2000 ultra high speed shearing emulsifier machine based on the XRS2000 series. Its shear rate can exceed 200.00 rpm, and the rotor speed can reach 66m/s. Within this speed range, turbulence caused by shear forces combined with specially developed motors can reduce the particle size range to the nanometer level. The shear force is stronger, and the particle size distribution of lotion is narrower. Due to its high energy density, it can achieve the particle size of a regular high-pressure homogenizer at a pressure of 400BAR without the need for other auxiliary dispersing equipment A high-speed disperser is a device that efficiently, quickly, and uniformly transfers one or more phases (liquid, solid) into another immiscible continuous phase (usually liquid). When the fineness of one or more materials reaches the micrometer or even nanometer level, the system can be considered homogeneous. When external energy is input, the two materials recombine into a homogeneous phase. The high shear homogenizer, due to the strong kinetic energy brought by the high tangent speed and high-frequency mechanical effect generated by the high-speed rotation of the rotor, makes the materials subject to intense mechanical and hydraulic shearing, centrifugal extrusion, liquid layer friction, impact tear and turbulence in the narrow gap between the stator and rotor, forming suspension (solid/liquid), lotion (liquid/liquid) and foam (gas/liquid). The high shear homogenizer instantly disperses and emulsifies immiscible solid, liquid, and gas phases uniformly and finely under the combined action of corresponding processes and appropriate additives. Through the cyclic operation of the high-frequency pipeline high shear dispersion homogenizer, stable high-quality products are finally obtained.
Comparison between XRS2000 series products and traditional equipment
Traditional equipment requires an 8-hour dispersion process, while XRS2000 equipment can complete it in 1 hour, making it more efficient and energy-saving.
The stirring speed of traditional equipment is several tens of revolutions per minute, and the speed with dispersion function is also within 1500 revolutions per minute, while the XRS2000 series can reach 5000-6000 revolutions per minute, which is even faster. The shear force generated by the ultra-high linear velocity instantly refines and disperses the material, resulting in higher quality products.
Comparison between XRS2000 series and similar devices
① Heating issue. During the processing of similar equipment, when high viscosity materials enter the cavity, the conveying effect is poor due to the high back pressure, resulting in the materials staying in the equipment cavity for too long and causing severe heating. The RCS2000 series equipment reduces back pressure resistance, improves conveying capacity, reduces dwell time, and reduces material heating while ensuring effectiveness.
② Multi layer multi-directional shear dispersion. The structure of components such as the stator and rotor of similar equipment is single, and the multi-level and multi-layer structure is only a simple repetitive processing. The same tooth groove structure is prone to short circuiting of biological materials passing through the working chamber without dispersion. The XRS2000 series stator and rotor structure adopts the concept of multi-layer multi-directional shearing. The prefabricated structure allows materials to be sheared and dispersed in different directions, eliminating short circuits and achieving even more ultra-fine dispersion.
