The horizontal bag type granule packaging machine, as the core equipment for automated packaging of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces and food granules, relies on standardized operation and scientific maintenance for its efficient operation. To ensure production efficiency, product quality, and operational safety, it is necessary to pay special attention to the following precautions:
1、 Preparation before operation
Equipment inspection: Before starting, a comprehensive inspection of mechanical components (such as transmission chains and gears) and electrical systems (such as wiring connections and control panels) is required to ensure that there is no looseness or abnormality, and to prevent malfunctions during operation.
Environmental assessment: The work site should be kept clean, with debris removed to avoid material contamination or equipment damage; Check the ventilation and heat dissipation conditions to ensure that the equipment operates in a suitable environment.
Material adaptation: Select the appropriate packaging bag material (such as BOPP film or composite film) based on the particle characteristics, and verify the compatibility between the bag type and the equipment to avoid bag failure or loose sealing.
2、 Standardized operation
Parameter setting: Adjust the measurement system parameters based on particle size and flowability, control the feeding speed, and prevent packaging bag damage or slow speed from affecting efficiency.
Process monitoring: closely monitor packaging quality, check sealing firmness (such as heat sealing temperature and pressure) and measurement accuracy, promptly handle deviations, and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
Safety protection: Operators must wear protective equipment (such as gloves and goggles), and it is strictly prohibited to put hands or objects into running parts. In case of abnormalities, the machine should be stopped immediately for troubleshooting to avoid forced operation.

3、 Post operation maintenance
Cleaning and disinfection: After each shift, clean the residual particles inside and outside the equipment, use neutral cleaning agents to wipe the surface, and perform food grade disinfection on the areas in contact with materials (such as hoppers and measuring systems) to prevent cross contamination.
Component maintenance: Regularly lubricate transmission components (such as bearings and chains), check the wear of vulnerable parts (such as heat seals and bag clamps), and replace them in a timely manner to maintain equipment performance.
System calibration: Periodic verification of weighing sensors and electronic measuring systems to ensure stable accuracy and reduce economic losses caused by errors.
4、 Common fault response
Bag loading failure: often due to insufficient suction of the suction cup or stuck bag material, it is necessary to check the air source pressure and mechanical structure.
Poor sealing: It may be caused by temperature parameter deviation or component wear, and the settings should be adjusted and damaged parts should be replaced.
Running noise: usually caused by loose transmission components or insufficient lubrication, requiring tightening and replenishing lubricating oil.
By strictly following the above precautions, equipment stability can be significantly improved, service life can be extended, and the dual requirements of hygiene and efficiency in industries such as medicine and food can be met.
