The fully automatic viscosity tester is suitable for testing the viscosity properties of all types of gelatin, including edible gelatin, medicinal gelatin, industrial gelatin, bone glue, etc; Viscosity testing of gelatin liquids such as agar and protein powder.
The following are operational suggestions for determining whether a fully automatic viscosity tester requires performance verification:
1、 Judgment based on time period
1. Conventional usage scenarios
Under normal usage frequency, it is recommended to perform system calibration at least once a year to ensure that the basic accuracy meets industry standards.
2. High frequency or critical applications
If used for quality control, scientific research, or calibration laboratories, it needs to be shortened to once every 6 months for calibration; When it comes to precision research and development (such as rheological analysis of polymer materials), it is recommended to conduct quarterly verification.
2、 Abnormal signs based on monitoring data
1. Repetitive exceedance
The relative standard deviation (RSD) of multiple measurements of the same sample exceeds the threshold:
Low viscosity samples (<100mPa · s): RSD>2.0%.
High viscosity samples (>1000MPa · s): RSD>1.0%.
2. Accuracy offset
When using standard silicone oil for verification, the deviation exceeds the allowable range:
Medium viscosity standard oil (≈ 50mm ²/s): deviation>± 2%.
High viscosity standard oil (≈ 500mm ²/s): deviation>± 1.5%.
3、 Environment and device status triggering
1. Severe environmental fluctuations
Frequent temperature and humidity exceeding the instrument's adaptation range (15-35 ℃), or failure to calibrate in a timely manner after sudden changes in the measurement environment.
2. Component abnormality
When the rotor rotation is stuck, the capillary tube is blocked, or the temperature sensor displays abnormal fluctuations, immediate verification is required.
3. Verification after maintenance
After replacing core components such as rotors and seals, recalibration is necessary to eliminate assembly errors.
4、 Special scenarios for mandatory verification
Regulatory compliance requirements: Regular verification nodes mandated by industry standards (such as petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals);
Post accident recovery: equipment activation after collision, liquid leakage, or power failure;
Long term shutdown and restart: Comprehensive verification is required before reusing after a shutdown of more than 3 months.
