Vacuum deaerator is a key equipment used in laboratories and industries to remove dissolved gases from liquids, and its stable operation depends on daily maintenance and regular upkeep. The following regulations aim to guide users in operating and maintaining equipment, extend its service life, and ensure stable performance.
1、 Daily maintenance methods
•Clean the interior of the vacuum chamberAfter each use, clean the surface and components inside the vacuum chamber with a dust-free cloth or specialized tools to avoid introducing pollutants. For residues that are difficult to remove, neutral cleaning agents (such as dishwashing detergent mixed with water) can be used to wipe them. Strong solvents such as alcohol or acetone are strictly prohibited to prevent corrosion of sealing rings and other components. After cleaning, it should be thoroughly dried to prevent moisture accumulation from affecting the sealing.
•Sealing ring careThe sealing ring is the core component to prevent air leakage and needs to be checked and cleaned after each use. Gently wipe with a soft cloth dipped in neutral detergent to remove any residue of slurry or adhesive, avoiding long-term accumulation that may cause aging or deformation. Regularly check the sealing by conducting a simple air leakage test: close the box door and evacuate it, then let it stand and observe the pressure drop. If there is any abnormality, replace the sealing ring in a timely manner.
•Vacuum pump maintenanceThe vacuum pump is the heart of the equipment and requires regular oil changes and cleaning. According to the frequency of use, the vacuum pump oil should be replaced every 3-6 months. When changing the oil, ensure that the old oil is drained and add new oil of the same model. The oil level should be controlled within the calibration range. Clean the air inlet filter element monthly, blow off dust with compressed air, and prevent impurities from entering the pump body and damaging the rotor. To avoid pump idling, the vacuum should be broken before shutting down during operation to reduce rotor wear.

2、 Regular maintenance steps
•System inspection and testingInspect all components of the vacuum system, including valves, flanges, and seals, weekly to ensure they are securely fastened and leak free. Use helium or nitrogen for leak testing and promptly repair any leaks. At the same time, check the water flow and temperature of the cooling system, clean the filter to prevent scale accumulation, and maintain efficient cooling effect.
•Calibration of Transmission and Electronic SystemsMonthly inspection of transmission components and electronic systems, such as target source parameters and sensors, calibration to ensure stable coating or degassing effects. Clean the area around the target source to avoid dust affecting performance.
•Long term maintenance measuresAccording to the usage time of the equipment, conduct regular major repairs, including replacing consumables, lubricating bearings, and checking circuits. Record operating parameters such as vacuum degree and temperature, analyze data trends to prevent potential issues. During cold seasons, it is necessary to drain the accumulated water in the pump to prevent freezing and cracking.
3、 Operation precautions
Before starting, check the oil level, belt tightness, and cooling water supply to ensure compliance with specifications.
During operation, avoid inhaling high-temperature gases and install condensation devices if necessary to reduce the intake temperature.
When parking, first close the intake valve, then open the exhaust valve to restore normal pressure, and finally turn off the power.
By following the above regulations, the reliability and efficiency of the vacuum degassing instrument can be significantly improved, and downtime caused by malfunctions can be reduced.
