A rheometer is an instrument used to examine the melting, softening, or dispersion of solid preparations such as suppositories or vaginal tablets under regular conditions. The fusion apparatus consists of a water bath, a water bath heater and its temperature control system, a water bath circulation system, a mesh blue for placing test reagents, a frame plate for fixing and flipping the mesh blue, a bracket, a flipping handwheel, and a slow stirring system composed of a transmission mechanism. The characteristic of the fusion apparatus is that the water bath circulation system is an extracorporeal circulation system placed outside the water bath, and the transmission mechanism for flipping the mesh blue is a wire wheel transmission mechanism composed of an active wheel and a passive wheel driven by nylon wire. The melting instrument detects the decay value of suppositories and adopts a microelectromechanical integrated design. The microcomputer realizes water bath temperature measurement, timing alarm, and metal frame flipping control. The machine is reliable in operation, easy to operate, and has excellent performance. Its technical specifications comply with the provisions of the Pharmacopoeia.

After heating the measuring medium to 36-37C, place the suppository on the sample holder, then place it on the cylindrical barrel, flip it every 10 minutes with a black handle, and repeatedly test 2 or more suppositories. All samples should disintegrate within the standard time.

This device is also suitable for checking dry negative films. At this point, only use the sample holder, place it in a glass container, adjust the height of the 37C medium liquid level, cover the upper plate perfectly, take the tablets and place them on the square plate, then cover them with suitable glass plates to maintain appropriate humidity conditions, and take at least 2 tablets.

Precautions for the Melt Transformer:

1. The water bath temperature is less than 30, and only "30" is displayed on the temperature window. Indicates the actual temperature at 30 degrees Celsius; do not turn on the power when the water tank is not filled with water. The water pump is prone to damage.

2. Due to long-term unsuitability, please drain the water from the tank.

3. After each test, clean the metal frame and transparent sleeve, and replace the medium (water).

4. Cannot lift or lower on the water bath. Gently hold and place with both hands to prevent dropping and damage to fingers.

5. After connecting the power supply, there is no display. Check if the 220V power supply, fuse, and power socket are in good contact.

6. When the water circulation system is not working properly, it is strictly prohibited to press the "temperature control button" for heating. There is a risk of burning the heating tube.
