Brief Introduction

Structure and Material

The sanitary grade forged ball valve consists of a valve body, a ball core, a valve stem, a sealing component, and an actuator. Its modular design facilitates quick maintenance.

  1. Valve body forging processMade of 316L stainless steel forgings, the grain structure is refined through high-temperature forging to improve material density. The compressive strength is increased by more than 30% compared to cast valve bodies, and the working pressure can reach 2.5-6.4MPa. It is suitable for high-pressure steam sterilization (SIP) or low-temperature liquid medium (-196 ℃) transportation.

  2. runner designFull bore structure, with inner walls electrolytic polished to Ra ≤ 0.4 μ m mirror level, seamless, in compliance with 3A and EHEDG hygiene certifications, eliminating the risk of microbial growth.

  3. sealed systemThe surface of the ball core is plated with hard chromium or sprayed with PTFE/ceramic coating, matched with food grade EPDM, FKM or PTFE sealing rings to achieve bi-directional zero leakage (sealing level VI), with a temperature tolerance range of -50 ℃~180 ℃, suitable for strong acids, alkalis and CIP/SIP cleaning agents.

Selection and maintenance points

  1. Selection parameters

    • Working condition requirementsSelect valve body material and sealing material based on medium temperature (high/low temperature), peak pressure, and corrosiveness.

    • connection methodPriority should be given to quick installation of clamps in frequent cleaning scenarios, and flange connections are recommended for high-pressure fixed pipelines.

    • certification standardExport products must comply with target market certifications (such as CE, ASME BPE, 3A).

  2. Installation and maintenance

    • Before installation, rinse the flow channel with pure water to avoid damage to the sealing surface caused by welding slag.

    • Regularly check the elasticity of the sealing ring (recommended once a year), and shorten the high-temperature working conditions to six months.

    • CIP cleaning temperature ≤ 150 ℃ to avoid material deformation caused by sudden temperature differences.

  3. Fault handling
