lubrication
Good lubrication is one of the prerequisites for long-term reliable operation of pumps. The bearings and transmission shaft universal joints of the pump are lubricated with lithium based grease. The pump for conveying food medium uses food lubricating grease at the ball head of the transmission shaft.
The bearings of the pump should be regularly removed, cleaned, and lubricated according to the usage environment and working conditions. The recommended amount of lubricating grease filling is generally 1/3-1/2 of the space between the bearing and the bearing housing.
The time for replacing lubricating grease at the universal joint depends on the temperature and pressure of the medium being transported, as well as whether the rubber sheath and sealing ring are damaged.

Pumps using packing seals need to be regularly checked for leaks and the packing cover should be tightened in a timely manner. It is advisable to prevent slight medium dripping, as excessive pressure can cause the packing and shaft to overheat and die. When replacing worn packing rings, they should be completely replaced.
Pumps using mechanical seals should be inspected promptly upon discovery of leaks. Aging O-ring seals, dynamic and static rings with damaged sealing surfaces, etc. should be replaced in a timely manner. Pumps that transport high viscosity, easily precipitated or solidified, corrosive media should have their mechanical seals thoroughly cleaned before prolonged shutdown, and lubricating grease should be applied to the friction end faces of the moving and stationary rings.
