1、 Working principle
1. Structural explosion-proof mechanism
Using explosion-proof enclosures (such as welded steel plates or cast aluminum alloy materials) to enclose internal electrical components, ensuring that sparks, arcs, or high temperatures generated inside will not ignite external combustible gases or dust. The shell has anti explosion pressure characteristics, which can withstand internal explosions and prevent flame propagation.
2. Media isolation and safety design
Isolate electrical components from the external environment through insulation materials or sealing structures to prevent explosive mixtures from infiltrating the enclosure.
Part of the design combines explosion-proof and increased safety composite structures to further enhance safety and avoid secondary explosions.
3. Multiple protection functions
Built in overload protection, short circuit protection, and leakage protection devices can quickly cut off power in case of circuit abnormalities, avoiding the expansion of faults. Some devices are equipped with dual power switching function to ensure continuous power supply.
2、 Application scenarios
1. Applicable industries
Production environments containing flammable and explosive gases such as petroleum, chemical, and natural gas.
Places such as coal mines, metallurgy, and flour processing that are prone to producing combustible dust.
Areas such as storage tank areas, oil depots, and pharmaceutical workshops that require strict control of explosion risks.
2. Functional Features
Mainly used for controlling explosion-proof lamps and adapting to low-power lighting equipment (such as LED explosion-proof lamps).
Suitable for indoor or semi enclosed areas with less dust and relatively stable environmental conditions.
3. Installation requirements
Equipment with corresponding explosion-proof level should be selected according to the hazardous area level (such as gas group, temperature group), and strict sealing and grounding specifications should be followed.
Through structural protection and multiple safety mechanisms, explosion-proof lighting boxes achieve safe control of lighting systems in flammable and explosive environments, significantly reducing the risk of explosion accidents.
