Precautions and maintenance methods for the use of stainless steel explosion-proof lighting power supply box
Date: 2025-08-29Read: 5
When using stainless steel explosion-proof lighting power supply boxes in flammable and explosive environments, the following precautions and maintenance methods must be strictly followed to ensure safety and equipment lifespan:
1、 Precautions for use
1. Installation environment adaptation
Ensure that the installation location meets the explosion-proof level requirements (such as Zone 1 and Zone 2 explosive environments), and avoid direct sunlight or high temperature areas.
Check the sealing of the box to prevent dust and corrosive gases from entering the explosion-proof chamber.
2. Electrical safety operation
After power failure, warning signs should be hung to avoid accidental operation causing electric shock or sparks.
Regularly check whether the wiring terminals are loose and whether the cables are worn or cracked.
2、 Maintenance and upkeep methods
1. Regular cleaning and inspection
Wipe the surface and internal components of the box with a dry cloth, avoiding the use of corrosive cleaning agents.
Check if the sealing strip and explosion-proof surface are intact, and regularly apply rust proof grease.
2. Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance
Tighten screws and wiring terminals, replace aging or damaged components (such as circuit breakers and terminal boards).
Test the insulation resistance value to ensure reliable grounding and that the grounding resistance meets the standard.
3. Long term storage and restart
Store in a dry and ventilated place. If not used for a long time, it needs to be powered on for 4 hours for testing.
4. Personnel training and management
Maintenance personnel need to receive professional training and be familiar with the operating specifications of explosion-proof equipment.
Establish equipment numbering and contracting system, record maintenance status and conduct regular assessments.
By standardizing usage and system maintenance, equipment reliability and safety can be significantly improved, reducing the risk of malfunctions.
