The structural components of a single effect external circulation concentrator

Single effect external circulation concentrator is an industrial equipment that accelerates liquid evaporation under vacuum conditions. It adopts an external circulation design and is suitable for temperature sensitive material processing. Its structure mainly consists of the following core parts:
1. Heater
Using a jacket or tube structure, the material liquid is heated by steam or hot water to reach the evaporation temperature. Usually made of S304/316L stainless steel, it has the characteristics of anti stick wall and easy cleaning.
2. Evaporation chamber
The heated liquid is sprayed here and rapidly evaporated through vacuum negative pressure. There are nozzles and circulation pipes inside, forming an external circulation path to ensure uniform heating of the liquid material.
3. Defoamer (foam catcher)
Located on the top of the evaporation chamber, it is used to eliminate foam carried in the steam and prevent foam from entering the subsequent condensation system, affecting the concentration efficiency.
4. Condenser
Cooling the secondary steam generated by evaporation into liquid water, usually using a tubular or plate structure, in conjunction with a cooling water system.
5. Cooling device
Perform secondary cooling on the condensed liquid to ensure complete liquefaction, and some models will be integrated with the condenser design.
6. Liquid receiving tank (reservoir)
Collecting condensed liquid, some designs will be equipped with liquid level sensors to achieve automated control.
7. Auxiliary components
Circulating pump: drives the liquid to flow in the external circulation pipeline.
Vacuum system: maintains a negative pressure environment inside the equipment.
Control system: including temperature and pressure sensors and operation panel.
This device achieves efficient concentration through external circulation design and is suitable for industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, and chemicals, especially for low-temperature evaporation treatment of thermosensitive materials.
