Analysis of High Speed Emulsification Tank Products
Date: 2025-02-14Read: 6
Introduction
High speed emulsification tank is a key equipment widely used in chemical, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. It is mainly used for mixing, dispersing and emulsifying two or more immiscible liquids to form a stable lotion. With the continuous improvement of product quality and production efficiency requirements in modern industry, its technological level and market demand are also growing.
1、 Definition and Working Principle
1.1 Definition
A high-speed emulsification tank is a device that uses a high-speed rotating rotor or stirrer to refine and uniformly mix liquid materials through high shear force. Its core function is to evenly disperse two or more immiscible liquids (such as oil and water) in a short time to form a stable lotion. Widely used in industrial fields that require high-precision mixing and emulsification.
1.2 Working principle
Based on high shear forces and turbulence effects. The core components of the equipment are the rotor and stator. The rotor generates strong shear force when rotating at high speed, tearing the liquid material into tiny droplets, while the stator further refines the droplets. Through this high shear, the originally insoluble liquids (such as oil and water) are uniformly dispersed to form a stable lotion.
In addition, a temperature control system is usually equipped to heat or cool the material during the emulsification process to ensure that the material completes the emulsification process at the ideal temperature. The control system is used to adjust parameters such as stirring speed, temperature, and time to meet different process requirements.
2、 Structural composition
2.1 Tank body
Used to accommodate materials. Usually made of stainless steel material (such as 304 or 316L stainless steel), it has good corrosion resistance and hygiene, and is suitable for industries with high hygiene requirements such as food and pharmaceuticals.
2.2 Mixing system
The mixing system includes a rotor and a stator. The rotor generates high shear force through high-speed rotation, while the stator is used to further refine the droplets. The design of the mixing system directly affects the emulsification effect and equipment performance.
2.3 Drive device
The driving device includes a motor and a transmission system, which are used to provide power and drive the mixer to rotate at high speed. The power and speed range of the motor determine the processing capacity and applicability of the equipment.
2.4 Temperature Control System
The temperature control system is used to regulate the temperature of materials, usually including heating and cooling functions. The heating method can be electric heating, steam heating, or thermal oil heating, while cooling can be achieved through circulating water or cooling medium.
2.5 Control System
The control system is used to adjust the operating parameters of the equipment, such as mixing speed, temperature, and time. Modern high-speed emulsification tanks are usually equipped with automated control systems that can achieve precise control and data recording.
2.6 Sealing System
The sealing system is used to prevent material leakage and ensure the safety and hygiene of the equipment during operation. Common sealing methods include mechanical seals and packing seals.
3、 Application Fields
3.1 Chemical Industry
In the chemical industry, it is used to produce products such as coatings, inks, adhesives, pesticides, etc. Through high-speed emulsification tanks, solid particles or liquid materials can be uniformly dispersed in the base material to form a stable mixture.
3.2 Food Industry
In the food industry, it is used to produce dairy products, seasonings, beverages, sauces, etc. For example, when making salad dressing, mayonnaise or milk drinks, oil and water can be mixed evenly to form a stable lotion.
3.3 Pharmaceutical Industry
In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used to prepare drugs such as emulsions, ointments, and injections. Due to the high hygiene and safety requirements of drugs, high-speed emulsification tanks typically use high standard materials and designs.
3.4 Cosmetics Industry
In the cosmetics industry, it is used to produce lotion, cream, essence and other products. By using a high-speed emulsifying tank, oil, water, and active ingredients can be evenly mixed to form cosmetics with delicate texture.
