Common name: Composite Neutralizing Eluent
English name: Compound Neutralizing Liquid
9 mL/tube
8 0 0 3
1. Only equipped with 9mL of composite neutralizing eluent; Other items not provided but needed:
1) Aseptic dropper;
2) Tryptone soy agar, nutrient agar - used for pouring method;
3) Improve pouring culture bottles, etc.
Microbial limit monitoring for disinfectants in use. No bacterial growth function, not part of the culture medium.
【 Principle of Inspection 】
Quantitative sampling utilizes various neutralizing agents contained in the product to neutralize residual disinfectants in the sample, thereby relieving their inhibition on microorganisms and facilitating the cultivation and revival of residual microorganisms for detection, avoiding missed detections.
The composite neutralizing agent contained in the liquid can neutralize various disinfectants, including iodine, chlorine containing disinfectants, peroxides, quaternary ammonium (benzalkonium bromide), aldehydes, and biguanides (chlorhexidine). Therefore, there is no need to consider matching with the type of disinfectant when using this product, and there is no difficulty in choosing.
[Appearance]
Opaque, milky white to amber in color, with slight precipitation after prolonged storage (does not affect filtration, should be shaken and mixed well before use to neutralize the eluent).
Storage conditions and expiration date
Avoid light, at room temperature (10~30 ℃), with a validity period of 1 year. Please refer to the label for the expiration date (based on the composite neutralizing eluent with a shorter validity period). After opening the test tube cap, it should be used immediately.
Use disinfectant solution, add the sample to the composite neutralizing eluent, and complete the pouring method inoculation within 1 hour; If it cannot be processed in a timely manner, it should be refrigerated at 2-8 ℃ and processed within 24 hours.
1. Operating environment: sterile and clean environment to prevent contamination, such as biosafety cabinets;
2. Before use, gently shake and mix well to neutralize the eluent;
3. Use a sterile 1mL syringe to aspirate 1.0mL of the disinfectant being tested, add 9.0mL of neutralizing eluent and shake well with a vortex. If necessary (if the specimen is too turbid or there are too many bacteria), dilute the eluent to a certain extent and neutralize for 10-20 minutes;
4. Cultivate using the pouring method (see Appendix A);
5. Cultivation: 35 ℃± 2 ℃, atmospheric environment, 48 hours, counting the number of bacterial colonies;
6. Result calculation:
Pouring method: Disinfectant bacterial load (CFU/mL)=average bacterial count per dish x sample dilution factor;
Microbial Limit Testing Standards
The total bacterial count of disinfectant used for sterilization should be 0 CFU/mL;
2. The total number of bacterial colonies in skin and mucous membrane disinfectants should meet the corresponding standard requirements;
3. The total bacterial count of other disinfectants in use should be ≤ 100 CFU/mL;
4. Refer to other standards adopted by your company.
Explanation of Inspection Results
If the calculated result meets the standard, it is qualified; On the contrary, it is unqualified.
Limitations of Inspection Methods
This product is only used for diluting and neutralizing residual disinfectants and cannot be used alone. It needs to be combined with a filter, filter cup, other equipment, reagents, and culture medium to achieve its intended use.

Appendix A. Pouring Method
A1. Operate in a sterile environment, such as a biosafety cabinet;
A2. Pouring method
1) Conduct at least 2 sets of experiments, prepare sufficient sterile 90mm diameter empty petri dishes, and add 1mL of eluted neutralizing eluent to the empty petri dishes;
2) Prepare culture medium (15-20mL): Boil and melt suitable sterile agar medium (such as nutrient agar, tryptone soy agar) in water for about 20-30 minutes; Then cool down and maintain a constant temperature of 40-50 ℃ in a constant temperature water bath, and set aside for later use;
3) Pour the prepared 40-50 ℃ agar free culture medium into the prepared petri dish, gently rotate and shake the dish on the table to mix well, remove the cover and move about 1/3 away. Wait for the agar to cool and solidify, blow dry the condensate, then cover the dish and invert the plate to incubate in the incubator.
A3. Use an improved pouring culture bottle, please refer to its instructions for detailed operation.
