The core components of the tube type multifunctional small colloid mill are the rotor and stator (static grinding disc), which are precisely matched to form an adjustable small gap. During operation, the rotor rotates at high speed under the drive of the motor. After the material enters through the feeding hopper, it is sucked into the gap between the rotor and the stator under the action of centrifugal force and its own gravity. When materials pass through gaps, they are subjected to composite forces such as shear force, friction force, extrusion force, and high-frequency vibration. Among them, shear force is the main force generated by the high-speed relative motion between the rotor and stator, which can refine material particles to the micrometer or even nanometer level. Meanwhile, friction and high-frequency vibration further promote the breakage of material molecular chains, achieving emulsification, dispersion, and homogenization.
The processed material is discharged from the discharge port. If it does not meet the fineness requirements, it can be refluxed to the feed port through a three-way valve for reprocessing until it meets the process requirements. This design ensures the controllability of machining accuracy. By adjusting the gap between the stator and rotor, the particle size of the discharge can be accurately controlled. For example, reducing the gap will enhance the shear strength, which is suitable for finer grinding; Increasing the gap is suitable for initial crushing or processing of high viscosity materials.
Measurement steps and precautions for using a tubular multifunctional small colloid mill:
1. Measurement steps
-Preparation work: Check the cleanliness of the colloid mill and the integrity of each component. Prepare containers to hold materials. Carefully check the clearance between the fixed teeth and the rotating teeth to ensure that it is not in the minimum state. Clockwise rotation when viewed from above can reduce the gap, while counterclockwise rotation can increase the gap.
-Power on debugging: Connect the power and turn on the machine. First rinse the pipeline with clean water, and when the flowing water is clear, switch to adding materials. First, pour a small amount of material into the hopper, adjust the gap adjustment sleeve, and determine the grinding gap (be careful not to get stuck).
-Formal grinding: Adjust the speed and time as needed to start grinding. During the operation, attention should be paid to safety measures to avoid danger.
-Cleaning and maintenance: After grinding, adjust the gap to the maximum and clean the pipeline with hot purified water at 90 ℃ or above for 5 minutes to ensure that all material residues and hot water are discharged before turning off the machine. Cut off the power and clean the surroundings of the instrument and equipment.
2. Precautions for use
-Equipment installation: It must be installed on a flat surface to avoid tilting and causing unstable operation or damage.
-Temperature monitoring: During operation, it is necessary to regularly check the temperature of the motor, bearings, and other parts to prevent overheating from causing malfunctions or safety hazards.
-No idling: Avoid running without materials for a long time to prevent wear and tear on the grinding head or burning of the motor.
-Timely power off: In case of any abnormalities, immediately turn off the power and troubleshoot before use.
-Standardized cleaning: High temperature hot water should be used to rinse the pipeline before and after each use to prevent residue from solidifying, blocking or contaminating subsequent materials.
