The horizontal box packing machine accurately sucks up paper boxes through vacuum suction cups, and combines the coordinated action of guide rails and baffles to automatically open and shape flat or folded paper boxes. This process ensures that the paper box is synchronized with the conveyor belt speed in the horizontal direction, preparing for subsequent loading. After the product is output from the production line, it is transferred to the fixture positioning position and accurately positioned using the buffer device of the transmission mechanism. At the same time, the manual is automatically folded and sent to the designated location. In the loading area, the machine accurately places the product and instructions into the opened paper box through a robotic arm or other actuator.
After the filling is completed, the machine will perform a sealing operation, usually using hot melt adhesive sealing or tongue and groove sealing methods. In addition, batch number printing and other processes can be synchronized as needed to ensure product traceability and identification integrity. Throughout the entire process, a photoelectric monitoring system is equipped to detect in real-time the status of the product entering the box, whether the paper box/instruction manual is missing, and other abnormal situations. Once an abnormality is detected, the system will automatically shut down, sound an alarm, and display the cause of the fault for timely handling.
Measurement steps for horizontal box packing machine:
1. Preparation and inspection before operation
-Equipment status confirmation: Before starting up, it is necessary to comprehensively check whether the moving parts such as the conveyor belt, pushing mechanism, and paper box forming device are loose or stuck; Adjust the tension of the conveyor belt and calibrate the bent push rod to ensure accurate material feeding. Simultaneously investigate issues such as electrical circuit damage and hydraulic/pneumatic system leaks, and test the functionality of the emergency stop button and photoelectric sensor (if the emergency stop button is pressed, the power should be immediately cut off and the machine stopped).
-Material compatibility verification: Set appropriate carton parameters (maximum 200x90x60mm, minimum 70x20x15mm) based on product size and manual specifications, and dynamically adjust the packing speed through the PLC control system. It is necessary to ensure that the folding mechanism can handle materials of different thicknesses correctly.
-Security protection test: Cover the photoelectric sensor to simulate a scenario of missing materials and observe whether the equipment automatically pauses; Verify whether the removal station can effectively separate defective products without instructions.
2. Run parameter debugging
-Dynamically adjust the boxing rhythm: use the PLC system to gradually test the operational stability at different speeds within the range, and record the data points of the best matching production capacity and yield rate.
-Positioning accuracy calibration: Through the built-in buffer device and transmission mechanism of the packing disk, the accuracy of the box opening facing upwards is repeatedly verified, solving the problem of traditional equipment being prone to tipping over. Real time monitoring of box sealing can be achieved through the use of detection devices.
3. Full process linkage trial production
-Automated connection testing: If combined with a bubble wrap packaging machine to form a production line, the start stop timing and material handover rhythm of the two devices need to be synchronized and coordinated to ensure continuous operation without blockage.
-Batch number printing verification: Check the clarity and accuracy of batch number information, as well as the signal synchronization between the coding equipment and the host.
