The structural principle of the three effect external circulation concentrator can be divided into the following two parts:
1、 Structural composition
1. Multi effect series system
Composed of three independent heating chambers (one effect, two effect, three effect) and their corresponding evaporation chambers connected in series.
Each heating chamber adopts a tubular heat exchange structure, which is connected to the evaporation chamber through an external circulation pipeline.
2. Auxiliary system
Circulating pump: drives the material to circulate forcibly between the heating chamber and the evaporation chamber, improving heat transfer efficiency.
Vacuum system: including a water receiver, a cooler, etc., to maintain a negative pressure environment for various effects to reduce the boiling point of the solution.
Steam pipeline: Connect the secondary steam channels of each evaporator chamber to achieve step-by-step utilization of thermal energy.
2、 Working principle
1. Multi effect evaporation process
One steam (boiler steam) enters the first effect heating chamber to heat the material, and the generated secondary steam is introduced into the second effect heating chamber as a heat source, and so on to the third effect.
The pressure of each effect decreases step by step (first effect>second effect>third effect), and the boiling point of the solution decreases accordingly, achieving low-temperature evaporation.
2. External circulation mechanism
The material is pumped out from the bottom of the evaporator through a circulation pump, heated in the heating chamber, and then re sprayed into the top of the evaporator chamber to form a forced circulation.
During the circulation process, the material is sprayed in a mist to increase the evaporation area, shorten the heating time, and reduce the damage of thermosensitive components.
3. Reuse of thermal energy
The secondary steam is reused for heating in subsequent effects, reducing the overall energy consumption by about 70% compared to single effect systems.
The final steam is discharged after condensation, and the uncondensed part is maintained in a negative pressure environment through a vacuum system.
4. Key advantages
Energy saving and efficient: Through multi effect series connection and external circulation design, the consumption of fresh steam is significantly reduced.
Low temperature concentration: reduces boiling point in a negative pressure environment, suitable for thermosensitive materials such as traditional Chinese medicine and food.
Uniform concentration: Forced circulation avoids local coking, and the concentration ratio can reach 1.4 or above.
