Working principle of multifunctional extraction tank

The multifunctional extraction tank is mainly used for the process of boiling and hot reflux extraction of traditional Chinese medicinal materials in a stirred state using water-soluble organic solvents as the medium, and can also recover volatile oil components during the extraction process. Efficient extraction of effective ingredients from large quantities of medicinal herbs; Energy conservation, more complete extraction of effective ingredients, and higher drug concentration in the extraction solution.
The entire extraction process of the multifunctional extraction tank is completed in a closed and recyclable system, which can be used for atmospheric pressure extraction or low-temperature extraction under pressure. Whether it is water extraction, alcohol extraction, oil extraction or other purposes, it can be determined according to the drug performance requirements.
(1) Water extraction: Water and traditional Chinese medicine are loaded into an extraction tank, and the interlayer heat source (such as steam) is started. After boiling in the tank, the supply of heat source is reduced, and the boiling in the tank is maintained. The maintenance time depends on the extraction pharmacological process. If closed extraction is required, cooling water is given to cool the steam gas and return it to the extraction tank to maintain circulation and temperature.
(2) Alcohol extraction: First, add traditional Chinese medicine and alcohol into the tank (which must be sealed), steam the interlayer heat source, turn on the cooling water to reach the required temperature in the tank (depending on the extraction process), reduce the supply of heat source, and let the rising vapor state alcohol pass through the condenser to become liquid alcohol and reflux. In order to improve efficiency, a pump can be used to force circulation, so that the liquid medicine is sucked out from the lower part of the tank through the pump and then flows back into the tank from the upper inlet, relieving local channel flow.
(3) Oil extraction: First, add the traditional Chinese medicine containing volatile oil and water into the extraction tank. Open the circulation valve of the oil separator, adjust the bypass reflux valve, open the supply heat source valve, and when the volatilization temperature is reached, open the cooling water for cooling. The cooled medicine should be kept at a certain height in the separator to separate it.
(4) Recycling alcohol: Add alcohol to the cylinder, supply steam, turn on the cooling water, and then open the recycling valve.
