Analysis of daily maintenance knowledge of chiller units in the aerospace industry
Date: 2025-12-25Read: 5

In the research and development, testing, and production processes of the aerospace industry, the operational stability of chiller units is directly related to the reliability of test data and the smoothness of production processes.

1、 Control operating parameters and build a stable foundation

The daily maintenance task is to regularly monitor and record the core operating parameters of the chiller unit, and timely capture potential parameter fluctuations. Attention should be paid to the evaporation pressure and condensation pressure of the refrigeration system, as well as the inlet and outlet temperatures and flow rates of chilled water and cooling water, to ensure that all parameters are always within the rated operating range of the equipment. At the same time, pay attention to the voltage and current stability during equipment operation, as well as the operating sound and vibration status of components such as compressors and pumps. If abnormal noise, severe vibration, or parameter changes occur, immediately stop the machine for troubleshooting to avoid the expansion of faults and affecting aerospace related testing or production work. Establish a comprehensive parameter ledger to facilitate tracking of operational status changes and provide data support for subsequent maintenance.

2、 Focus on the maintenance of core components to ensure power stability

The performance stability of core components is crucial for the normal operation of chiller units, and targeted maintenance should be carried out in conjunction with the operational characteristics of the aerospace industry. Compressor as a unitThe "power core" needs to regularly check the oil level and quality of the lubricating oil. If the oil quality changes color, becomes turbid, or contains impurities, it should be replaced in a timely manner. At the same time, the sealing performance of the compressor should be checked to prevent refrigerant leakage; The condenser and evaporator need to be regularly cleaned of surface dust and dirt to avoid a decrease in heat transfer efficiency. In order to meet the cleanliness requirements of the aerospace workshop, the cleaning process should avoid dust diffusion, and gentle methods such as high-pressure gas blowing and special cleaning agents wiping can be used; Control components such as throttle valves and solenoid valves need to be regularly checked for flexibility to prevent blockages and blockages that may cause abnormal refrigerant flow control. At the same time, monitoring components such as temperature sensors and pressure controllers should be calibrated regularly to ensure accurate parameter sensing.

3、 Strengthen system cleanliness control and adapt to aerospace requirements

The aerospace industry has high requirements for the cleanliness of production and testing environments, especially for the cleanliness control of chiller systems. On the one hand, regularly flush the chilled water and cooling water systems to remove scale and impurities in the pipelines, avoid pipeline blockage or corrosion, and add appropriate water treatment agents according to the water quality to maintain water quality stability and prevent the growth of microorganisms in the pipelines from affecting heat transfer efficiency; On the other hand, regularly clean the equipment filters and screens, replace clogged filter elements in a timely manner, and prevent impurities from entering the system and damaging core components. For refrigerant systems, it is necessary to regularly check the sealing of pipeline interfaces, valves, and other parts. If leakage traces are found, they should be promptly located, repaired, and supplemented with refrigerant that meets the standards to avoid impurities from damaging the refrigeration cycle.

4、 Adapt to special environmental conditions and reduce external influences

The aerospace industry workshop often has the characteristics of concentrated high-precision equipment and strict control of environmental temperature and humidity, which requires targeted control of the operating environment of the chiller unit. Ensure smooth ventilation in the installation area of the unit to avoid obstruction of condenser heat dissipation caused by poor ventilation, which may lead to an increase in system pressure; Strictly control the temperature and humidity of the operating environment to avoid accelerated aging of electrical components or corrosion of metal components in high temperature and high humidity environments. At the same time, stay away from corrosive gases and dust sources generated by aerospace testing, and install protective isolation devices if necessary; Keep the surroundings of the equipment clean, strictly prohibit the stacking of debris that affects operation and heat dissipation, prohibit the storage of flammable and explosive materials near the equipment, reduce safety risks, and adapt to the strict safety management requirements of the aerospace industry.

In summary, in the daily maintenance of the aerospace industry, personalized maintenance plans should be developed based on the special needs of the aerospace industry, and various hidden dangers should be promptly identified in order to ensure that the chiller unit continues to provide stable temperature control support for aerospace research and development and production, and to assist in the smooth development of aerospace related work.
