The stable operation of refrigeration units is directly related to the normal development of production and life. In practical use, some refrigeration units often experience unstable situations such as fluctuations in refrigeration capacity, frequent start stop, and abnormal operating noise, which not only affect the user experience but may also shorten the equipment life. This article will analyze the main reasons for the unstable operation of refrigeration units from four core dimensions: system media, core components, environmental conditions, and operation and maintenance.

1、 System medium abnormality
The refrigeration cycle of refrigeration units relies on the stabilizing effect of refrigerants and lubricants, and abnormal medium states are common causes of unstable operation. On the one hand, refrigerant leakage or improper filling can directly disrupt the balance of the refrigeration cycle. If the filling amount is insufficient, the unit cannot achieve the preset refrigeration effect, and the compressor may frequently start and stop due to uneven load; If the filling is excessive, the system pressure will abnormally increase, triggering the protection mechanism and causing the operation to be interrupted. On the other hand, the deterioration or insufficient amount of lubricating oil can affect the lubrication effect of the compressor, increase the frictional resistance of components, not only reduce the stability of the unit operation, but also may cause problems such as compressor overheating. In addition, impurities such as air and moisture mixed into the system can cause abnormal refrigerant throttling, further exacerbating operational fluctuations.
2、 Aging or malfunction of core components
The core components of the refrigeration unit, such as the compressor, condenser, evaporator, and throttle valve, are prone to aging or failure after long-term operation, which can lead to unstable operation. Compressor as a unitThe internal valve wear, motor winding insulation degradation, and loose bearings of the "heart" can cause fluctuations in exhaust pressure, high operating noise, and even abnormal start stop; If there is dust or scaling on the surface of the condenser and evaporator, it will affect the heat transfer efficiency, resulting in uneven heat transfer in the system. The unit will frequently adjust its operating state to maintain refrigeration demand; The throttle valve is responsible for controlling the flow of refrigerant. If there is a blockage or the regulating mechanism is stuck, it will cause unstable refrigerant supply and fluctuating cooling capacity. At the same time, the failure of control components such as temperature sensors and pressure controllers can prevent the unit from accurately sensing operating parameters, resulting in control deviations and causing operational fluctuations.
3、 Inappropriate environmental conditions
The operating status of refrigeration units is closely related to external environmental conditions, and an unsuitable environment can easily lead to unstable operation. In high temperature environments, the condenser has a high heat dissipation pressure. If there is insufficient heat dissipation space or poor ventilation, it can lead to an increase in condensation pressure, forcing the unit to increase load operation, resulting in a decrease in cooling capacity, compressor overheating, and other situations; In low-temperature environments, if the unit is not adjusted accordingly, problems such as poor lubricating oil fluidity and insufficient refrigerant evaporation may occur, affecting the cycle efficiency.
4、 Improper operation and maintenance
Irregular operations and inadequate maintenance procedures are also important reasons for the unstable operation of refrigeration units. At the operational level, frequent switching of unit operating modes and sudden adjustment of set temperatures can cause rapid changes in unit load and disrupt operational balance; Some users adjust the set temperature to an unreasonable range in pursuit of fast cooling, which can cause the unit to be in an overloaded state for a long time, leading to abnormal operation. At the maintenance level, long-term failure to clean heat dissipation components, check pipeline sealing, and replace aging parts can lead to gradual deterioration of component performance, accumulation of system hazards, and unstable operation. In addition, if the pipeline connections are not tightly sealed and the components are installed incorrectly during maintenance, it will also affect the subsequent operation status of the unit.
In summary, the stable operation of refrigeration units is helpful for targeted troubleshooting and response in practical use. In daily use, it is necessary to standardize operating procedures, regularly carry out maintenance and upkeep, and timely handle problems such as abnormal media and component failures in order to ensure the stable operation of refrigeration units and fully realize their value.
