With the development of technology, people's demand for high-performance, low-cost, and high-quality production is increasing. Freeze drying technology, as a new type of drying method, largely maintains the original quality, color, aroma, and taste of products, and is widely used in the preparation of drugs, food, biochemical reagents, and other fields. And the core equipment of freeze-drying technology - freeze-drying machine, its process principle has also become the focus of people's attention.
The laboratory freeze dryer is composed of multiple parts such as the freeze system, vacuum system, power supply system, and control system. The entire device can be easily understood as a large refrigerator, but its functions are far more than that. Below, I will discuss in detail the functions of each part.
1. Metallurgical freezing system
The refrigeration system consists of a compressor, condenser, dryer, and expansion valve. Its function is to lower the temperature of the product (usually liquid) to a certain extent through a refrigeration system after pretreatment, which is beneficial for subsequent vacuum drying. In the refrigeration system, the compressor is responsible for refrigeration compression, the condenser cools and reduces the temperature of the compressed hot gas, the dryer removes moisture and impurities from the liquid product and supplies heat to the product, and the expansion valve regulates the amount of product flowing into the condenser.
2. Vacuum system
The vacuum system consists of a vacuum pump, an oil convection device, and valves. Its main function is to remove moisture, vapors, and gases from the product, create a vacuum environment, and achieve freeze-drying of the product. In a vacuum system, the vacuum pump drives air flow, and the oil convection device separates oil and gas to avoid pollution and damage, and is controlled through valves.
3. Power supply system
The power supply system includes heating, cooling, and solenoid valves. Its function is to achieve automated operation of equipment through electronic control technology, thereby improving its efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
4. Control system
The control system is the "brain" of the entire device, consisting of buttons, display, main control board, sensors, and alarm system. Its main function is to monitor and control the entire device in real-time to ensure its stability and safety.
