This machine is a rotary continuous tablet press suitable for pharmaceutical machinery equipment that compresses granular raw materials with a powder content (100 mesh or more) not exceeding 10% into various starting tablets. This machine is not suitable for pressing semi-solid, moist powders, and ultra-fine powders without particles.

2.Structure and principle

2.1Structural and performance characteristics

2.1.1We originally planned to use a variable frequency motor for speed regulation, which drives the rotary table to rotate through a synchronous belt pulley and worm gear transmission. The turntable rotates to drive 35 sets of stamping dies to rotate clockwise. Each punching die is composed of mechanisms such as upper and lower guide rails and pressure wheels, which form the process of feeding, filling, pressing, and discharging pressure plates.

2.1.2The pressure, filling, thickness, and speed of this machine can be adjusted, and all adjustment handwheels are located on the front of the machine with instructions on the operation panel. Easy to operate and convenient to maintain.

2.1.3ZP35DThe drive mechanism of the tablet press is isolated from the compression chamber to ensure that the tablets comply with GMP requirements. Non toxic and corrosion-resistant stainless steel plates are used in the tablet pressing room to isolate it from other parts. There are sealing devices around to prevent cross contamination with the outside world.

2.1.4The upper pressure wheel is equipped with an unloading device, and its pressure can be adjusted. When the working pressure of the punch exceeds the pre-set pressure, it is unloaded through the compression of the spring, and the buzzer emits an audible and visual signal, and the machine immediately stops to prevent damage to the parts.

2.1.5This machine adopts a closed oil immersed lubrication worm gear transmission, which extends the service life of the worm gear transmission.

2.1.6The upper guide rail, transmission worm, feeding hopper, feeder, filling rail and other spare parts of this machine are all compatible with the ZP33 tablet press. The punching die of this machine complies with the standard GB12253-9 and is compatible with ZP33 and 19 tablet presses.

2.1.7The two side panels and rear panel of this machine can be opened with a key, making maintenance and repair of the machine convenient.

2.1.8Structural Description

2.1.8.1Upper pressure wheel and upper cover:

a)This device is equipped with four pull rods and right angle supports around the periphery in the upper half of the machine to accommodate the pressure during sheet pressing and form a window type enclosed compression chamber. Therefore, the pressure regulating device for tablet pressing is also installed in this component.

b)The pressure regulation of the tablet press is achieved by rotating the lever and compressing the spring, which puts the plunger in an unloaded state, effectively avoiding damage to the plunger due to overpressure. At the same time, the travel switch on the right end is activated, and the machine automatically stops and emits sound and light signals to allow the operator to check for faults.

c)Open the top cover of the upper pressure wheel frame to inject lubricating oil to reduce wear on the main shaft and bearings.

d)By opening the left front door of the machine, the lower punch rod can be easily installed through the main window and the middle mold can be disassembled using a tool to strike the rod.

e)The lower rail guide of this machine can also be disassembled and assembled through the main window, without the need to lift the turntable, making the maintenance and repair operations of the machine simple and feasible.

2.1.8.2Feeding and dispensing;

a)The position of the stainless steel hopper can be adjusted by the bolts on the hopper frame to control the flow rate of the material.

b)The feeder is the main component for fully filling the particles into the middle mold and ensuring the weight of the sheet, so its structure is a flow grid type. During installation, the gap between its bottom surface and the turntable worktable is between 0.05 and 0.1 millimeters, which can be adjusted by installing feeder bolts.

c)To avoid dust flying during the powder or tablet pressing process on the workbench, a box type vacuum cleaner nozzle is installed on the left side of the workbench to reduce powder accumulation. Otherwise, it may cause the punching rod to stick to the powder and experience sticking and punching.

d)To reduce the surface powder of the tablets after dispensing, the dispensing nozzle of this machine is lengthened to facilitate the shaking and collection of residual materials.
