Working principle and main components of circular tablet press
Date: 2024-12-27Read: 0
Circular tablet presses are widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, and chemicals. Due to its efficient and accurate production of various specifications of circular tablets, this equipment is particularly important in the pharmaceutical industry, used to produce various circular tablets and ensure that each tablet meets quality requirements.
The working principle of the circular tablet press is to compress powder materials into circular tablets through pressure. The specific operation process is as follows:
• Feeding: Put the powder material into the hopper of the tablet press.
• Feeding: The powder is fed into the tablet chamber through a feeder to ensure that the material is evenly distributed inside the mold.
• Compression: In the compression chamber, the up and down moving pressure wheel applies pressure to the powder to form a circular sheet.
• Discharging: The compressed circular tablets are discharged through the tablet outlet and enter the next processing or packaging process.

The main components of a circular tablet press include the following parts:
• Tablet press body: This is the core part of the equipment, consisting of a lower press head, an upper press head, a press roller, and a housing.
• Feeder: Feed powdered materials into the tablet press in a certain proportion.
Distributor: evenly distribute the fed powder into each mold.
Mold: mainly includes compression mold and lower mold.
• Hopper: Used for storing powdered materials.
• Feeder: Feed the powder into the compression chamber to ensure that the material is evenly distributed inside the mold.
Tablet press room: a place for powder pressing.
• Pressure wheel: The pressure wheel that moves up and down applies pressure to the powder, forming a circular sheet shape.
• Discharge port: The compressed circular tablets are discharged through the discharge port.
