Our Israeli partner Elcon helps a cheese manufacturer safely and accurately weigh containers with ingredient systems. The food industry generally has high requirements for cleaning, and in dairy production, there are also high requirements for cleaning. Because lactic acid bacteria may contaminate the entire production line and even damage the entire production process, the requirements are even stricter.

The production of white soft cheese requires a long four legged horizontal container and a horizontally installed mixer. The various connections for raw material input are located at the top of the container, and the output is located at the bottom of the front of the container. At the end of production, water and special cleaning agents are required for cleaning. To ensure that there is no water or cleaning agent residue in the tank after cleaning, the following procedure was used: hydraulic lift the two rear legs to tilt them a few degrees towards the tank. This can remove water or cleaning agents.

For the tilt option, the two front legs are flexibly connected to the top of the load cell bracket as axes.

The two rear legs are connected by inflatable rubber bellows (depending on the situation) to prevent the weighing sensor from being damaged by impact when the container returns to a horizontal position after the cleaning process. The inflatable rubber bellows will only activate when the container returns to a horizontal position.

The weighing system used in this application is four PR 6241S pressure weighing sensors from Inteco, which are fixed to the ground using PR 6041/40S brackets, PR 6130/65S junction boxes, and PR 5230 weighing transmitters. The interface output of the transmitter is connected to the central computer system of the factory, which controls and records the weighing data of each weighing point. These online information enable production management personnel to control the production process, especially recording the weight data of final products and raw materials.
