Project objectives and implementation

The company has been a customer of Intico for many years and has been using Vistus metal detectors to detect metal contamination in various products. Now, the customer needs a high-speed automatic weighing scale that has obtained MID certification and can transport products at a speed of up to 800 pieces per minute. Intico addresses this challenge by developing customized Flexus Combi weighing scales for customers. The specially developed weighing scale is a dual track solution, with two tracks supporting speeds of up to 400 pieces per minute.

Tailored multi track solutions are highly suitable for customers, as their products are delivered on two tracks and then processed by weighing scales. Two tracks support a belt speed of 1.5 meters per second and can be configured using a single control unit to enable or disable individual tracks separately. The Flexus weighing scale can provide accurate weighing results with a weighing resolution of 0.1 g. Defective products are removed by compressed air and stored in a lockable removal device, which prevents unauthorized personnel from accessing these products. This detection solution provides a total of four exclusion options (two after weight inspection and two after optional metal detection stage), with a length of only 1600 mm, which clearly demonstrates the compact nature of the weighing solution.

The Flexus Combi weighing scale is an ideal choice. Because even the standard design is an extremely compact combination of metal detection machines and weighing scales. The metal detection machine has not been installed for the customer yet. If needed, these can be easily added in the future without occupying additional space. Yintaike has not only demonstrated its precise and reliable weighing and testing solutions through this project, but also provided flexible solutions that meet customer requirements.
