Experimental small granulator
1. The inclination angle adjustment of the ball forming disc is convenient, the structure is novel, the weight is light, the height is low, and the process layout is flexible and convenient.
2. The ball forming disc is composed of a disc body and disc sections. The disc sections can be adjusted up and down along the disc body, and the ends of the disc sections are edge flanges to ensure that the material balls are not pulled or torn when they are discharged from the disc.
3. After the frame welding is completed and the stress is eliminated, its mating surface is processed and formed in one go on the boring and milling machine, ensuring higher assembly accuracy and smoother operation of the whole machine.
4. The scraper device, consisting of a non powered combination scraper and a corner cleaning scraper, is used in conjunction with an optimized ball forming disc to achieve better ball forming effect and higher qualified ball forming rate while cleaning the bottom and edges.
The raw material powder is made into uniformly sized ball cores, which are then fed into a ball forming disc. After entering the disc, the ball cores are subjected to centrifugal force, frictional force, and gravity, moving along a parabolic path and continuously pushing out the moisture inside the balls during the rolling process. Due to the adhesive and plastic properties of the material, the ball cores bond with the raw material powder and gradually grow during the movement. Due to the adhesive properties of the material and the natural evaporation of the surface liquid film, the material ball has a certain strength. When the inclination angle, edge height, rotation speed, and moisture content of the ball disc are set, different particle sizes of material balls roll downwards from the edge of the disc at different detachment angles due to gravity, and then are discharged from the edge of the disc as the inclined disc body rotates.
