The core principle of the fully automatic continuous high-speed box packing machine lies in "continuous motion, precise synchronization, and efficient integration". It abandons the traditional intermittent pause action and achieves high-speed and smooth operation of the entire packaging process. The following is a detailed explanation of its key process principles:
1、 Continuous motion foundation:
The core is to use a continuous conveyor system (usually a continuously variable speed synchronous belt, chain, or specially designed conveyor track).
All workstations (opening boxes, loading materials, inserting inserts/manuals, sealing boxes, etc.) are integrated into this uninterrupted and continuous moving main conveyor line.
The motion trajectory of each actuator (such as suction cups, push rods, folding plates, spray nozzles) is carefully designed and synchronously controlled to accurately match the position and speed of the moving paper boxes and materials on the conveyor line.
2、 Box supply and forming (opening):
1. Box blank supply: Flat paper box blanks are continuously separated and taken out from the silo (automatically or manually added).
2. Open box molding: This is the key difficulty in achieving continuous high-speed.
3. Adsorption and opening: Vacuum suction cups (quantity required according to speed) accurately suction the box blank and quickly pull it apart into a square cylinder shape.
4. Continuous molding: During the continuous movement of the box with the conveyor line, the molding mechanism (such as arc-shaped guide rails, molding plates, and push rod combinations) synchronously guides, opens, and folds the bottom (if any), and presses it into the conveyor line fixture or fixing device to maintain its open state. The entire process is highly dynamic and synchronized.
5. Bottom cover pre sealing (optional): For boxes that require adhesive sealing of the bottom, spray glue and bottom cover folding and pressing (which may also be hot melt adhesive) will be performed immediately after molding to ensure the stability of the bottom.
3、 Supply and loading of products (contents):
1. Product transportation: Products (such as bottles, blister packs, hoses, bags, etc.) are precisely arranged, oriented, and accelerated through independent high-speed conveyor lines (such as belt lines, star wheels, robotic arms).
2. Accurate synchronized loading:
The speed of the product conveyor line is precisely matched with the speed of the main packaging line.
Push in: The most common loading method. The high-speed push rod (or push plate array) accurately pushes a group of products (or multiple products) out of the product line at the synchronization point, horizontally and synchronously pushing them into the continuously moving and opened paper box next to them. The pushing action is coordinated with the movement of the box, without any relative pauses.
Drop/Lift: For specific products, a vacuum suction head may be used to grab the product in motion and accurately place it into a moving box, or to drop the product into the box at a specific position (requiring precise control of height and timing).
4、 Instruction manual/insert insert (optional):
1. If it is necessary to insert instructions, desiccants, etc., there is an independent feeding system (such as vibrating discs, paper suction heads) to remove and organize them.
2. Insertion mechanisms (such as suction heads, push forks, and robotic arms) accurately synchronize the insertion of inserts into or into the designated position inside the box containing the product during continuous movement of the box. The insertion action is highly coordinated with the movement trajectory of the box.
5、 Folding and sealing of box cover:
1. Folding: The box is moved to the folding station. In continuous motion, precise guide tracks (flippers, folding bars, curved templates) gently and accurately fold the top cover (front/rear tongue or side tongue) of the box inward in sequence.
2. Sealing:
Tongue insertion type: For boxes with tongue insertion design, after folding, the tongue will be guided into the locking position through mechanisms (such as pressure wheels, guide rails) to complete the locking.
Sealed type: More commonly found in high-speed machines. Before or during the folding process, the glue nozzle (hot melt adhesive or cold glue) accurately sprays glue onto the cover tongue (usually the front or side tongue) that needs to be bonded in a very short moment (milliseconds). Subsequently, the folding action is completed, and the folded lid is immediately tightly pressed by a pressing device (such as a pressing wheel or pressure plate), and sealed using glue during movement.
6、 Quality inspection and discharge:
1. Detection (optional): High speed vision system or sensor detects key points (such as whether the box is open, whether the product is present, whether the instruction manual is present, and whether the box is intact). The detection is also carried out in continuous motion.
2. Qualified product output: Qualified finished boxes continue to move along the conveyor line to the export end, and are smoothly sent out or transferred to the next process (such as wrapping machines, packing machines).
3. Exclusion (optional): Detected non-conforming products will be accurately removed to the waste channel on a continuous line by automatic sorting mechanisms (such as push rods, air blowers, and sorting devices).
