As a core equipment in industries such as pharmaceuticals and food, the stable operation of the automatic bubble wrap packaging production line is directly related to product quality and production efficiency. Scientific maintenance can not only reduce equipment failure rates, but also significantly extend their service life. This article will systematically introduce the daily maintenance points of the automatic blister packaging production line, covering key links such as cleaning, lubrication, and inspection.
1、 Daily cleaning and basic maintenance
1. Equipment surface cleaning
After each shift, use a soft cloth dipped in neutral detergent to wipe the surface of the equipment, with a focus on removing PVC debris, drug residues, and oil stains. High temperature components such as heat sealing rollers should be cleaned of attachments with a fine copper wire brush while heated, and a safe distance should be maintained during operation to prevent burns. After cleaning, ensure that the equipment is completely dry to avoid water vapor corrosion of electrical components.
2. Key component cleaning
Components that come into direct contact with materials such as mesh plates, forming plates, and punching knives need to be disassembled and cleaned daily to prevent residue hardening from affecting packaging accuracy. Use compressed air to blow the gap between the feeding track and the mold to remove accumulated product debris. Special attention should be paid to the synchronous toothed belt, and the use of oil-based cleaning agents is prohibited to avoid aging of the rubber material.
3. Cooling system maintenance
Keeping the cooling water circuit unobstructed is an important measure to prevent thermal deformation. Check the cooling water flow rate daily and use compressed air to blow off any accumulated water in the pipeline when shutting down. For areas with hard water quality, it is recommended to use acidic solution for monthly cyclic cleaning to prevent scale blockage.
2、 Lubrication and mechanical maintenance
1. Lubrication cycle management
Each active part (guide shaft, cam box, etc.) needs to be regularly lubricated according to equipment requirements: guide shaft components need to be lubricated with food grade lubricating oil every week, and bearing parts need to be replaced with lubricating grease every quarter. Special attention should be paid to maintaining the oil level of the gearbox at 2/3 of the height of the casing, and changing the oil once a year. Before lubrication, it is necessary to clean the oil injection point to prevent pollutants from entering the friction pair.
2. Transmission system inspection
Before starting up daily, check the tension of the belt (preferably by pressing the midpoint to sink by 5-8mm), the tightness of the chain, and the meshing of the gears. Measure the bearing temperature monthly, and the normal operating temperature should be ≤ 70 ℃. When the synchronous toothed belt has cracks or tooth wear exceeding 30%, it must be replaced.
3. Pneumatic system maintenance
The compressed air pressure should be stable within the range of 0.5-0.7 MPa, and the accumulated water in the oil mist device and pressure reducing valve should be discharged daily. It is recommended to control the air pressure of the forming airway mold at around 0.5 MPa, as excessive pressure can lead to uneven formation of the bubble cover.
3、 Maintenance of Electrical and Heating Systems
1. Heating element maintenance
The temperature control of the heat sealing roller directly affects the sealing quality. Check the wiring terminals of the heating tube for oxidation every week, and use a multimeter to measure the resistance deviation (normal fluctuation range ± 5%). The heat sealing temperature of aluminum foil is usually set between 120-180 ℃ and needs to be dynamically adjusted according to the material thickness. The temperature sensor needs to be cleaned with alcohol swab every month.
2. Electrical safety inspection
Daily check the reliability of protective devices such as emergency stop buttons and safety door locks. Tighten the wiring terminals inside the electrical cabinet every month, paying special attention to the contact status of frequently operated contactors. When shutting down for a long time, the main power supply should be disconnected and precision components such as servo drives should be treated with moisture-proof measures.
3. Control system verification
Regularly calibrate the I/O signals of the PLC, with a focus on checking the temperature difference between the displayed value of the temperature controller and the actual temperature (allowable error ± 2 ℃). After replacing the mold, the detection position of the photoelectric sensor needs to be recalibrated to ensure that the punching accuracy is ≤ 0.5mm deviation.
3、 Periodic deep maintenance
1. Monthly maintenance
Thoroughly inspect the status of pipe joints and fasteners, and grind or replace the blades of the transverse/longitudinal cutting mechanism. Clean the sediment in the cooling system and check the wear of the drive belt. In terms of electrical aspects, it is necessary to remove the oxide layer of the contactor and verify the overload protection parameters.
2. Annual major overhaul
Including disassembling and cleaning the vacuum pump, replacing the special oil, and checking the fatigue status of elastic components such as laminated spring plates. Re calibrate the heat sealing pressure and measure the parallelism of the upper and lower molds using a thickness gauge (tolerance ≤ 0.1mm). Synchronize the replacement of all seals and bearings that have reached their service life.
3. Long term disuse maintenance
When the equipment is idle for more than two weeks, the accumulated water in the water and gas circuits should be drained, and rust proof oil should be applied to all metal surfaces. The mold should be stored separately in a dry environment, with a protective film attached to the contact surface. Before reactivation, it is necessary to run without load for more than 1 hour and gradually raise the temperature to the working temperature.
4、 Operating standards and precautions
1. Standardized operating procedures
Strictly follow the basic principle of 'supplying water before heating when turning on, cooling down before cutting off water when turning off'. After production is completed, the water source must be turned off only after each heating component has cooled to room temperature (below about 60 ℃). Mold installation requires the use of specialized tools, and violent tapping of positioning pins is prohibited.
2. Principles for handling exceptions
When abnormal stretching of PVC film occurs, first check whether the forming roller is damaged or blocked; If the heat seal is not tight, priority should be given to calibrating the temperature rather than blindly increasing the pressure. All maintenance operations must be powered off and tagged, and any electrical adjustments must be completed by certified personnel.
3. Record and Trace
Establish a complete maintenance file to record each lubrication, replacement of parts, and parameter adjustment. It is recommended to use a QR code management system, which can retrieve historical maintenance data and spare parts replacement cycles by scanning the equipment nameplate.
By implementing the above maintenance plan, the failure rate of the blister packaging production line can be significantly reduced. When complex problems are discovered during maintenance, timely technical support from the supplier should be provided to avoid secondary damage caused by improper disassembly.
